Great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I built mine from a kit. (idiom press) Very easy assembly.

Auto power off function lends itself to power switchless assembly. I first built it with a 9v battery and a 5V regulator. After forgetting to turn it off and finding a dead battery several times, I changed the power supply to 3 "AA cells and removed the power switch. Great Keyer, I can't say enough good things about it.

Only negative (minor) is that the sidetone volume is not adjustable it's on or it's off. I leave the sidetone off most of the time and use my rigs monitor function. This was a great move up from my previous Accu-keyer that I built back in '76.

Another 5 Time Owned: more than 12 months.
A few years back I called HRO to purchase an new keyer (I'll be kind and call it brand X) to replace my favored and recently dead WA4VVF accukeyer. The salesman, who knew I spent much time on CW, said, "You don't want one of those - get a Logikey!" It was a great piece of advice. The Logikey is the most intuitive ham product I have ever owned. And what's more cool, it has a WA4VVF Accukeyer timing emulation mode!! Great product. I do agree with the others, though, I wish the sidetone had an amplitude adjustment.

Super Keyer Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I can't imagine how anyone could improve the Logi-Key. This is undoubtedly the best keyer implementation I have ever used! There is no comparison with internally implemented keyers in several transceivers I have tried: Yaesu 920, 1000MP, 1000D, etc. The ability to compensate for transmitter rise-time effects seperately from weight control made it possible to get things just right in keying my FT1000D and listening to a friend's receiver over a land line. The communication with the keyer for function input and status output is extremely easy to use. I have a great deal of admiration for the designer and the quality production of this keyer.

Great Keyer Time Owned: unknown months.
I liked this keyer so much I got 2 of them. Only complaint is the speaker. On or off. No volume control. I've gone through a few keyers, unfortunately MFJ's, trying to find the "one".
I found it.

Great little keyer! Time Owned: unknown months.
The Logikey K-3 Keyer by Idiom Press is the best keyer I've owned. The weighting features on the keyer allow you to send smooth CW at any speed and never sound choppy. The unit is compact and would definitely be easy to take on a trip or expedition. Memories and contest features are everything you could want. It's programmable and settings are changed by keying them in from the paddle. Downside -- the monitor is either on or off -- no volume control and I find it a bid loud...but I use the monitor in the radio and leave the keyer monitor off. I like mine so well I bought two.
