O.K.			Time Owned: more than 12 months.
For over five years it has been working properly. In the beginning the insulated element-halves slipped off of the insulating pods. I fixed them with some acrylic(?) glue before tightening the clamps. After that there were no more problems with elements slipping off. The antenna I had before suffered from metal fatigue due to vibrations at lowest wind. Maybe mechanical resonaces should be watched carefully and adequate actions taken. Sure it is not a high-gain-antenna, but a little more efficient than a rotary dipole only. On six it also works nicely but has two strong sidelobes like a 3/2-wavelength-dipole.

Worst antenna I have ever owned			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This describes my experience with the original model LP5 (newer model is said to be better). In my view my antenna was an overpriced pile of metal tubing junk. Assembling the antenna was very frustrating because of poor assembly instructions and poor quality of some materials supplied. The antenna did not give an impression of having been properly designed; rather it just seemed to have happened. After just six months in use, one of the boom tubes just sheared off, as did one of the elements. I suspect metal fatigue to be the cause. Titanex emphasize the need to insert polyprop rope in elements to dampen element oscillations and avoid fatigue failure. This did not appear to have helped in my case. I have observed high frequency, low amplitude fluttering of the two longest elements apparently due to vortex shedding in as little Bft. 1 (Light Air) wind conditions. Rough estimate gave millions of cycles within months if not weeks, likely causing cumulative fatigue damage. Electrically, antenna proved equally unexciting. Maker's customer care experienced by this reviewer poor to non-existent.

Good antenna with bonus!			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I bought this antenna from Marcus, PA2DB (see review below), because he moved. I use it mainly on 28 MHz, and sometimes on the lower bands. It surprised me it also has a perfect resonance on 50 MHz! It will not outperform a single band Yagi, but it has a decent FB ratio, and some gain on 6, so it is also very usable for the 'occasionally' 6 meter user. It does outperform a dipole though! Very good material, lightweight. Mechanics needs some improvement. Good antenna for the bucks.
