sweet Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Very nice, I've never heard the fan on... I actually have to look at it to see if the red light is on so i know its working.

No noise as far as I can tell and it runs just everything I own without a problem.

A real work horse! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My neighbors the TASER people threw out the power supply I got. I dove in after it, and after cleaning it I replaced the regulator IC. With the beating they gave it (Taca Taca Taca) all day long it should have been totally fried. But just 1 cheap part from radio shack and we are back in business with plenty of clean QUIET power. I'll never sell my 340MVT.

Built to last, a definite keeper Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had mine since the last solar cysle and it is still rock steady. No further comments and introductions needed as the previous reviewers have already said it all.

I own 2 of these and I am very happy Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have 2 of these, I am using one for my Icom 910H and the other for my 756 proIII. I have only heard the fan come on when I am on 2 meters FM for a long period of time and the fan is so quiet you do not even realize it is on. Very stable. I sold the ps125 I got with my 756 proIII so I could buy the second one. Great power supply. Would be nice if the meters would illuminate and have a switch to turn the lights on or off but this is just cosmetic.

LOUD FAN Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Nice looking power supply. But! the fan runs continously, and it is very, very, loud! You can hear it throughout the whole house. very annoying indeed. I will have to replace it with a quieter astron like I had before buying this. If I had known how loud this fan was, I would not have bought it. My terrible decision.

The Other "A" in Power Supplies!!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
When the ole' Astron gave up the ghost, I did my homework and came upon this gem. Good, stable, clean VARIABLE LINEAR DC power. Never have cared for switching supplies, but I digress. Connections all up front, no moving everything around to get at the power lugs, I like that.
At the shop, we put a 30 Amp resistive load on it, to see how loud the cooling fan is. It took a good 7-8 min before a variable speed cooling fan kicked on. You could barely hear it.
No noisy cooling fan here!!!
I checked out the schematic and I was sold!!
Fit and finish on this unit is A-1. Meters are a nice addition for me, although they are not illuminated. Weakest link in this unit would be the voltage control pot.......may be prone to wear/dust, etc. I may order one and have it "in stock" for when I need to replace it 7 years from now. A very, very nice piece by Alinco.

No complaints Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've owned one of these for several years after picking it up used at a hamfest. It has always worked fine except I had to replace the adjustment control pot on the front panel. The original pot had bad spots in it and the voltage would drop out completely or go down at certain postions. After that, it has been flawless.

Still rockin' after about 10 years. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought this power supply in the mid or late 1990s. It was used to power mobile radios. In 1999, I got out of ham radio. The supply was still used occasionally to run a 12v cell phone charger, test car stereos, and things like that. Now I'm a ham again and it runs the Yaesu FT-857d, LDG AT-100Pro autotuner, a handheld, and more every day. It has NEVER had any problems. The front terminals, spring terminals, and cig lighter socket really make it easy to hook up devices. And some power supplies have the terminals on the back-never liked that. Is there anything I don't like about it? No.

Great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I own two of these and use them to power all of my equipment at two different stations. They sit out of the way under desks without a wimper so it makes no difference that the power connections are all on the front of the unit. I bought them at R&L a few years ago and they are among the best purchases I have ever made. I'll take them with me to my grave to provide me with power in my afterlife.
