Great Speaker! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Simply the best I have ever heard! This speaker is large but sounds great. Not much on the looks department but I didn't buy it to look at. I bought a ClearSpeech from Am-Com a couple of weeks ago and this Sounds Sweet Speaker is the PERFECT Combination!
Great price also, buy one of these and you will not regret it!

OUTSTANDING !!!!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
THIS IS THE BEST SPEAKER I HAVE EVER USED ON MY HF RIG. I SOLD MY SP-20 IT DOES NOT COME CLOSE TO THE AUDIO QUALITY OF THE SOUNDS SWEET SPEAKER. IT IS BUTT UGLY AND BIG BUT THE QUALITY OF AUDIO IS GREAT!!!!!! BUY ONE YOU WILL LIKE IT.

Outstanding Audio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I discovered this speaker from the eHam ad, and after reading the reviews, and the no hassle return policy from the Sounds Sweet web site I ordered one.

The speaker was shipped promptly and was packed well. When I hooked it up I could not believe the difference betweeen the Kenwood SP-31 I had been using and the Sounds Sweet. The audio was so much clearer, and there was a huge reduction is hiss. You just have to hear one, it's better than any speaker I have ever tried.

I had a question about the speaker and Paul answered the email promptly. Quality of construction seems excellent, but the speaker is big (10"H 12"W 10"D), but if you have room for one BUY IT ! You will be amazed by the performance.

DOES: "Sounds Sweet" Time Owned: N.A.
I had never heard of this brand until "discovering" a Pop-Up ad here on Eham. I read the reviews and ordered a pair. BEST choice I ever made. They ARE big but they work better than ANY other "communications" speaker I have ever had. Heck! They work better than ANY speaker I have used in the shack. They are big but do not require a lot of drive so don't worry about having to "crank up" the volume control because it is not necessary. Excellent sound quality indeed!
Great company to deal with as well. Send a message and you will get a personal reply from Paul Sanchez. The ONLY other companies I have had this type of GREAT personalized communications with are Ten-Tec and Heil Sound.

Butt ugly but sounds incredible! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This speaker is, as previous reviewers have said,
big and honking. It's not one of those delicate,
elegant little transducers designed to match the
rest of your station, unless, of course, the rest
of your station is uglier than the south end of
a northbound grizzly.

That said, I have to admit that it has to be
unquestionably the cleanest-sounding
communications loudspeaker I have ever heard.
I use it with a BX-1 to mix all my radio outputs
into one speaker, and the result is awesome.

It looks like Hell but sounds like Heaven.

Buy it.

EXCELLENT !!!!!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Rather than ramble on I will make it brief. In 30 years of ham radio and many in the sound reinforcement business as well, this is as good or better sounding speaker as any I have heard. It is large, but if you can fit it in the shack, BUY IT !!!

Very Clean Audio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The clarity of this speaker, even at low volume levels, makes it an outstanding communications speaker. Although a bit on the large side (approximately 12"W, 10"H, 10"D), looking as though it could double as a small sub-woofer on your stereo, it in fact does not accentuate the lows unnecessarily. To top off a very nice product appearance, I added four rubber feet to make the unit stand slightly elevated from the shack table.

Outstanding Audio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I'm extremely pleased with this speaker. I've had 'em all in 42 years hamming. This one beats all the factory box'es I've owned by a wide margin. It is big, so plan for it. As another reviewer said, it won't win any beauty contests but what it lacks in beauty, it more than makes up for in crisp, clean audio. The icing on the cake is the service and responsiveness of Paul. I had a small problem and he handled it quickly, professionally and without any hassle.

One great speaker Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
If you intend to listen to a radio for the rest of your life you should be using the best speaker you can afford. For me it's the Sounds Sweet. The name says it all. It does 'sound sweet.' I have been a ham since before most of you were born and have used many different speakers and this is the best one by far. It isn't built to win a beauty contest and probably won't match your rig, but if you want pure listing pleasure, try it. I think you will agree, it's not something you will ever want to list on E-Bay.

Couldn't agree more Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I couldn't agree more with all that's been said. My problem is that I didn't look at the specs closely enough to realize how big this thing is. I am sure the size is one of the reasons it sounds so good, but I just don't have room for it. I'm selling mine for $80.00. Send me an e-mail if you are interested. baxtert@nationwide.com Tom K3MOV
