OK, not magic Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a good speaker for comms use. It's not magic, noise is still noise even when it's clearly reproduced. It does sound better than the tiny speakers in most mobile rigs and it's a good speaker for a shack where you're running all the radios through 1 speaker.

Lives Up to it;s Name! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Nothing better than a Speaker that completes my shack. Over the years many have come and gone like my radio's. The SP101 (FT101 series) is a strong 2nd.

I like the Speaker because it does not pass HF hiss and is not so bassy as to sound muddy. Just right!!

Really brings out the best in receivers that have potential to do so......i.e Kenwoods.

Also the SSS has great volume/sensitivity......you can crank it up if needed, it is no illusion.

Never again will I buy or use those over priced
ham vendor speakers that really are for show.

Best money spent........I recommend.

Sounds Sweet! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered my Sounds Sweet speaker on the company internet site and received it promptly via parcel post. I was impressed with the careful packing-it arrived in perfect condition. The speaker is quite attractive with a shiny hard black finish and handsome grille. The sound it produces from my IC756PRO II is outstanding, even my wife made an unsolicited comment on the high quality audio. It is a great demo speaker when you have friends in the shack and it is nice for armchair QSOs. Best $99 I have spent on my radio hobby in quite a while. They really know what they are doing at Sounds Sweet. WA7LZC/VE3

nothing better Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
My sounds sweet speaker CLEARLY sounds better than any internal rig speaker (and any external one) I have ever had!

The difference should be clear to anybody with normal hearing. If you have a hearing problem a full range speaker is not going to do anything for you. Hook this up to any rig and you SHOULD hear a vastly improved sound...don't forget to turn off that 1.2 kc filter (G)

...Bottom line? Get one!

Just OK Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I decided to get one for my 756proII. After reading all the great reviews how can I go wrong? I placed my order I received it in about 3 days. I was so excited to give it a try. After I set up the connector for the radio I plugged it in and tuned around to see what I could hear. I found a couple nice sounding SSB stations. It didn’t sounds too bad I unplugged the speaker jack to see how the internal speaker sounded. Well to my surprise it actually sounded about the same. The only thing that I noticed was the Sounds Sweet speaker did have a little more bass. I then compared it to a $30 RCA bookshelf speaker. I ended up with the same result just a little more bass. I then started to sink into my chair. Thinking why the hell did I buy this? It’s not much better then the internal speaker. So I ended up sending it back to get a refund minus the shipping both ways ($25). I sure wish it lived up to all the great reviews it had on here. My final thought about the Sounds Sweet Speaker is that it is not a bad speaker but it is not a awesome one either. That is why I can only give it a 3 out of 5.

Great Performance Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Despite the Shipping costs and then the Taxes which basically doubled the price of this awesome bit of kit.

It replaced a kenwood speaker on my all kenwood setup and instantly I could hear stations that normally involved using cans to hear....

The dynamic preformance is spot on for my hearing and station.

You do need space in the shack for this as it is not exactly compact however make the room NOW!!!

Great Speaker Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this speaker to go with my Kenwood TS-2000 amd I must say this really brings out the audio in the radio.
I have tried other speaker and none have been as nice as this one.
You can tell it quality right out of the box it's solid and well made if your looking a great speaker you should try this one. N0YSL

Wonderful Speaker Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using this outstanding speaker at my home shack for two years now with IC-756ProII. Love the clear sound on hard to get stations. I do not have experience with other speakers for communications. Decided to try the "Sounds Sweet Comm Speaker to monitor a frequency at low volumn and still understand the DX station. This speaker provides the low volumn clarity I was looking for. Highly recommend this product.

Great Audio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have about every speaker there is including Hammarlund, Icom, Drake, TMC, Ten Tec, and Radio Shack's Optimus. Although large, this is by far the best speaker I own and I am going to buy another one. It is outstanding on AM and SSB. It does however take up quite a bit of room at your operating position but it doesn't vibrate or resonate like the Drake or Icom speakers.

Good Speaker Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Based on all the reviews and QST, I ordered the speaker. Speaker arrived timely. Construction was good, and the hook-up was easy. I use the speaker with an ICOM 746. Customer support was very good (I e-mailed regarding which type of 1/8 in. phono plug, and received a response next day). The speaker really works, sound on FM and SSB is very good. However, with shipping and tax this speaker was around $140. I guess it does sound sweet, but the price is on the high side.
