Outstanding! Quiet! Quiet! DC Supply! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Talk about no noise, this is perfect...I had zillion of DC power supplies, I thought they all had a fan, and noise..I needed a loaner, someone gave this to me, and I could believe I don't not know there was DC Supplies that did not make any noise!

This DC Supply is very quiet, I mean no noise...(This means a lot, when you have an Amplifier, and the rest of it..

It is clean, small, looks great, and again, there is no noise .

Adjustable DC voltage, monitor the current, you can even adjust the switching frequency (In case the harmonics get into the radio), That is not the case with mine..

Outstanding DC Supply...I bought this of the fellow who loaned it to me...

Not heavy duty Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This pwr supply (Japanese version) was doing a fine job in intermittent use for a couple of years before I started using it to power an FT-1500 controlling an IRLP node. I thought it would be no problem as the max load on the supply would be less than half of its 17 amp limit. However after about six months in heavy duty use (not continuous duty) the supply began emitting a vibrating noise -- heavier the power output on the louder the noise. Then several days later it blew the fuse -- I suspect something internal related to the noise problem as it was not subject to a surge at the time of the failure and was being delivered pure AC from a universal power supply.
