Dependable, rock solid and QUIET ! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've owned 3, RS-35A power supplies, one for over 10 years. They are in use almost daily and never had a bit of trouble either. They are reliable and quiet! The RS-35A is a linear supply. WXØB I suspect was testing a model other than the RS-35A. I too have done extensive testing for FCC as well as CE compliance. The RM-35A is a solid, reliable and quiet supply that I would buy again!

Hard to get excited about a power supply, but it's great! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
It's a work horse. Does everything you'd expect. Great quality, would certainly buy again. Don't waste your money on the cheaper brands, you'll regret it. Powers my TenTec Omni VII at 100w + my 2 meter Icom mobile + my scanners.

Excellent Work Horse Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned and used this power supply for 9 years with a history of great reliability and confidence. It provides the power for several pieces of equipment and has been a solid performer. I can recommend this power supply without reservation.

tough enough! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using the astron 35 AMP's since a few years, and I use it along with an IC 703 to power a 12V solid state AMPS, giving even up to 300 W HF output on 80 meters ssb!
so tough is the right word!!!

steady Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have now had mine for five years. It has been a set and forget. I often leave it running for months at a time and it hs yet to fail. Simply a great piece of equipment. Am currently running a Yaesu 857D and an Alinco 590 off of it and it powers both fine as I often run both scanning in receive mode at the same time.

First Rs-35A I used 1984 still Love Them Time Owned: more than 12 months.
In 1984, I went to work for a local Two-Way Sales and Service. We had 3 Business Band UHF Tower Sites. No bells and whistles just good clean sites. We Powerd our Repeaters with Astron
RS-35 supplys. Since the day I started working on equipment in 1984 till now, I will use nothing but these WORK HORSES.
I love to hear the CLUNK when I power them up. Mine will be running 24/7 here shortly. My ratings comes from 30+ years of working with them,I did say working with them. Not Astron I have ever used has ever had to be WORKED ON.

May as well join the chorus... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've only had my 35A for two years so it's practically brand new, but is literally one of those gizmos you can set and forget. In fact, I often forget to turn it off! I'll pass the shack and see the on/off switch glowing red and remember then to turn it off...or not. Yes, it THUNKS! sometimes when you turn it on, but that is oddly satisfying to me. And the cover will sometimes hum a little, but I just touch it and it quits. Give it room to breathe and it stays cool. And it delivers the desired voltage and it loafs at 20 amps and it does it anytime I ask it to. That's exactly what I bought it for!

Reliable, dependable Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've had mine almost 23 years. I never turn it off. It is the most reliable piece of electronic equipment that I have ever owned. It blew the fuse once(my fault). The fuse blow incident was the only time the power was turned off in all these years! I've gone through six(6)radios in this same period of time but the old RS-35A just keeps on going, even with all that use, and abuse.
I highly recommend this product!
