been around			Time Owned: more than 12 months.
These mounts have been around for years as I have used them in the Cell Phone industry for installs back in the day (90s). I have also used these Pro Fits or Panavise custom mounts for my remote head installs. I would not use anything else ever unless you want the look of a 12 year old installing your gear.

Professional Look, Easy Mount for your HF Mobile!			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I discovered these "easy-fit" metal mounting brackets for professionally-installed cell phone car kits and they are perfect for installing remote control heads for mobile radios like the FT-857, FT-100D, ICOM IC-706 series and all the various new VHF/UHF mobiles that are the vogue these days. I struggled with double-sided tape, industrial strength velcro, suction cups and RAM mounts until I found this.. it makes the most accessible, easy to view mount for your remote head! And each is custom-made for the year, make and model of your car or truck, and come with EASY instructions on how to remove the trim panel on your dashboard (usually around your AM/FM radio trim panel) and install it. In my 2003 Dodge Caravan, the bracket might have taken all of 7 minutes to install. My FT-857 head looks great! And it's "wife-approved" !! Great value for less than $40 in most cases!!!
