Very Nice Program Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Although I have been using computer logging for contesting for many years, I have always kept a written log for all of my other contacts. I finally decided it was time to make the leap to full-time computer based logging for all of my contacts. After looking at a few programs, I decided on DXLab as my choice. It is full of features, and does quite a number of things. It is very important to read the documentation - I can't stress that enough. If you have questions, the user group is a very effective source of information. Much of the time you will get a response from AA6YQ. I found that I needed to be pointed in the right direction to set up a few items the way that I wanted, and I received very prompt and accurate replies. The nice thing about the program (suite) is that you can set it up to do only the things that you want it to. The 1-click LOTW upload feature is very cool, and a real time-saver. Overall, I find that DXLab has made my operating more enjoyable. Now I wonder why I waited so long to make the move to full computer logging!

Outstanding Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been a ham for 50 years and have used lots of software. DXLab is a very comprehensive
program. It covers a range of capabilities and does it all very well. The author, David Bernstein, interacts with users to update and improve it. It is a continuing process and it works exceedingly well. There is ample documentation. I recommend it without any reservations. I am amazed that such a quality product is entirely free.

Best HAM Radio Software period! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've been a licensed ham for 40 years and this is the best software I've ever seen for Amateur Radio. It's remarkable and it's free. The support is unparalleled for any program I've used, ham related or otherwise.
I had some issues after importing my old log of over 165k QSOs from DXbase. The issues were not related to DXLab but Dave and Rich (W3ZJ) worked with me every day until the issues were resolved.
The program seems complex at first. But as suggested in the Help file, just take it one program at a time and READ THE DOCUMENTATION! The documentation is excellent. Having these tools has enhanced my operation to the point where I'm as excited operating today as I was 40 years ago when I first got my ticket, maybe even more so.

Outstanding program & amazing support Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used and tested a number of logging programs over the past 17 years. I had settled on LOGic for about 5 or 6 years. But, development on LOGic stopped about 3 years ago. About 18 months ago I started testing DXLab again. As I began using the software I became very impressed. I got serious about it and tested it side by side with LOGic. Eventually converting 18 years worth of QSO's into DXLab. Around 35,000 give or take. I had some issues with getting everything synced up with my previous loggers records, and LOTW and DXLab. Dave came to my rescue. This was no small task! I was absolutely amazed and appreciative of Dave going out of his way to help me convert my data successfully. His programming skills and support are truly above and beyond. Thank you Dave and keep it up.

What Could Be Better? Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Somewhat over 2 years ago I decided to make another try at conquering the LoTW "dragon". I had my QSOs since 1/1/91 in computerized format, using either CT, NA, or the truly marvelous DOS logging program by WB2DND (N1DG). QSOs from 1958 through 1990 are on paper, and will stay that way! After somehow making it through the LoTW hurdles, it was obvious that I needed to move to a Windows based logging program. A few of the more active DX guys in this area are using the DXLAB Suite by AA6YQ. In fact, one offered to help me through the initial setup. I had a lot of questions for a few days, but after that, everything has functioned PERFECTLY. If I have a question, I do not hesitate to contact Dave - AA6YQ, and he answers you in a patient and professional manner, no matter how many times he may have answered the same question before! I use primarily DXKEEPER. I am able to import ADIF files as smoothly as you can imagine. Interfacing to LoTW is so easy that I upload QSOs to ARRL after each operating session.

I cannot possibly say enough good things about DXLAB and Dave - AA6YQ. We're very lucky to have guys like him around, who are willing to share their expertise and provide the best possible support for FREE!

Best of the best! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
You can't buy better software and support at any price (and it's free!). DXLab is in a league of it's own, with features to support whatever aspect of ham radio that you're into. Dave's personal support through the Yahoo group is extraordinary, whether it's a routine "How do I ..." user question, a defect report (you can expect a 24 hour turn around on this!), or an enhancement request. This is a total package -- logging, spotting, rig/rotor/accessory control, digital modes, callbook lookups, complete QSL management, automated eQSL and LoTW management, award tracking, etc, etc...
And it's modular, so you can use any subset of features that suits your fancy! Dave also tracks change requirements in real time -- e.g. The 10/10/10 changes to the Netherlands Antilles (PJs)was covered BEFORE 10/10!!

On a scale of 0-5, I give it a TEN!

An excellent product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I realized about a year ago that I had an archaic manual system for sending out QSLs. I've been computer logging for many years but every system I had been using for generating QSL labels was problematic. And forget about addressing envelopes for direct mailing. I was printing out the address from QRZ.com and taping it to the envelopes. Strictly 20th century. Then I was led to DXLab. What a great product. It handles QSL and envelope labels so elegantly and so much more. I'm only using about 10% of its total capability but I am extremely pleased. Later I plan to investigate some of the other modules in the suite. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Great Support by AA6YQ. Excellent software Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have been around Ham Radio since 1956.
My Formal training on PC's is nil. I did have some training back in the late 60's on mainframes.
The fact that the various pieces are aware of each other and work together is amazing!
Dave, AA6YQ and others on the list are very helpful and patient with new guys. And old guys.
I have used several other logging programs. This is the best.

BY FAR THE BEST Time Owned: more than 12 months.
By far the best, not only the loggin program but a complete HAM suite. Try it and you will believe me. But the best thing is the product support from the SUPER DAVE. This man is the HAM's HERO.

Superb Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have dabbled with many logging, rig control and control interfaces in my 20 years in the hobby, but none have come near to the comprehensive package offered in Dave's DXLab Suite of software. The entire software suite comprises every thing the serious or not so serious Amateur Radio enthusiast could wish for in terms of station automation, logging and QSO mode variety.
Support is second to none.. if there is an issue that cannot be addressed by reference to the online help pages, there is a thriving user community who can usually provide the answer.. if that doesn't work, then Dave himself is usually never far away from the forums to give advice.. usually within a few hours.
I wont bang on.. but if you want the best all round package, no matter what your personal interest is within Ham Radio, then give DXLab suite of software a try.. I am pretty confident you will not go back to pencil and paper!!
