Try one - worth every penny Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
There have been several versions of this fine FM amplifier over the years. They all have familiar controls. I bought a used model 95FM which has a 300 ohm input/output. I was a little hesitant to go back to 300 ohm twinlead, but generally, it will transfer signals with very little loss or degradation if routed properly.

In a ground-level room, with a simple indoor vertical dipole and a decent tuner, you will be AMAZED at the improvement in performance with the "Sleuth". It will pull weak FM stations out of the background to full quieting STEREO. With an outside antenna, you can expect even better performance. You will laugh at all the other antenna gimmicks on the market. Welcome to FM DX'ing. This one is a keeper.
