Delivers as stated Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This tuner is replacing my Alpha Delta Pathfinder which I loved and was made by LDG. The AT-1000 works great and tunes my inverted V and vertical with no problems on all bands. Im running the SG-500 smart cube amplifier and it all seems to be working smoothly.
I have the z-11 as well, LDG does an excellant job at making them simple yet effective.

Great Tuner! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have been waiting for LDG to come out with a high power tuner for a long time. Having owned their Z-11 and AT-11MP, I knew that their tuners worked well and were high quality. I order the AT-1000 as soon LDG let me know that it was available. This tuner is similar to the AT-11MP except that it will handle higher power levels.

I received the AT-1000 and hooked it up as described in the instruction manual (which is available on line). I tried it on all HF bands 160-10 meters with my Drake L-75 amplifier. The tuner worked as expected on all bands. Antennas used were inverted Vs for the top four bands and a T-6 log periodic for the bottom five bands.

This tuner is just what I have been waiting for. I run medium power at my station (500-750 watts, the extra 3db a kilowatt provides does not help much on the receiving end). This tuner works great for me. I hope they improve it by adding an Icom interface like the AT-11MP had. That would allow one button tuning!

A well design ATU Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
The AT-1000 arrived at my QTH double boxed and well packed. It was placed on the operating table and hooked up to my Centaur Linear Amp. I checked it on all bands using a 160,80, 40, 30 sloper, an all band Sommer Vertical, and a Sommer XP-405 beam were also tried. The ATU made short work of all of them.
This is the perfect ATU for that medium power linear.
