New Toy ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought used on ebay under $100.US. Has wide-open front end and intermod is intense in city. Basically using it to monitor repeaters. Small footprint for hamshack. Will be putting up discone which will probably agravate the intermod problem, I have spare RG213 for 40 ft run. AIR and WX banks are very good , but other service banks are not for me. Best source of freqs is other local scanner ops.
Main complaints--- Takes a PHD in TD (tech gadgetry) to master the controls, but it becomes easier with practice.---For trunking it seems locally that EDACS is most common and this unit only follows Motorola.---no 220 coverage.---
Conclusion--- If bucks are no problem then go to digital Bearcats or PRO 96.

overall a good scanner, but you had better keep it away from sources of interference.good loud and clear audio and a lighted amber display. Big 500 channel memory with trunk tracking ability. pretty expensive (I paid about 250.00 for mine)But considering other RadioShack scanners I have owned, this one is a winner.
