Very Accurate Meter Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I got my YS-60 a couple of years ago. I did an alignment to the power ranges with my Bird 43, it tracks somewhat accurately to my Bird on all power scales. It's off only a couple of watts on 80 meters and 10 meters but accurate enough. Now I have a compact, easy to use and read accurate wattmeter for my Yaesu station. This meter and it's brother YS-500 were made by WELZ.

One of the best real PEP meters Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have two of these meters, they are very accurate, what I like the most is their peak retention, PEP that unlike the vast majority are passive, this is really a PEP meter, it does not compare with the garbage that there is today in the market, the power connection is not only for the lamps, it is also for the general circuit, I use it with my 2kw amplifier without problems for more than 5 years. one of the best power and swr meters.

One of the best meters made. Very accurate, and well built. The only issue is the lamps are a bit tedious to replace, but the meter is worth it.

The Yaesu YS-60 is a very good meter. I bought a newer with a large meter MFJ Grandmaster meter and it was not accurate at all. The Yaesu YS-60 reads power output of transceivers and an amplifier I own. Readings match the transceivers and amplifier ratings. These now sell for $50 to $100 and although small, they are truly a bargain.

I just purchased a NEW/NEVER USED Yaesu YS-60 in the box with all contents. This came from a gentleman of health issues, and allow me to purchase it.

I have the Icom 756 ProIII, it would look and work great with this radio. However, since I have 2 watt/swr meters, I am thinking of selling the NEW Yaesu YS-60.
What price should I expect to sell it for??

If you come across one at a swap, grab it quick. I have the YS-500 as well and these meters are compact and convenient. Both meters work down low enough for QRP if you're pushing 5W. While recent radios have meters built-in, these work well to compare against those meters and of course do the job to answer questions on radios without.

Antenna analyzers are nice, but observing a system with the radio inline is best.

The bulb is original and still working. The Op I purchased it from took care of his equipment.

Luckily I was able to get one of these units at HAM X amateur radio flea market in Brampton Ontario Canada. Was looking for an Autek WM-1 or Radiocraft 3000 but obviously there were none of those there so I ended up with this little gem. I'm satisfied , it looks good next to all the other Yaesu gear on the desk, most importantly it's what I wanted " true peak reading " power / swr meter. Works great!!!

Excellent for my needs. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I picked up this meter at The Fort Wayne Hamfest for $55. What a deal! I wanted a companion for my FT-857 and I use 6 Meters as well, which this meter handles. Now that I've used it, had I not found this bargain, I would have gladly paid the retail price for a new one if they were still available. Sometimes I can't believe my own luck! Don't pass up a chance to buy one of these dandy little meters.

Small meter & bulbs blew Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This meter worked GREAT but it was kind of small & the bulb inside blew & was NOT an easy replacement. Replaced the bulb with a white LED.Looks nice as well but think I'll stick with my AUTEK WM-1 & my MFJ-868 "GIANT WATTMETER".
