I Love it What more can can I say Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought the factory assembled AT-11MP version and found that it surpassed a well respected Japanese manufacturers product which was matched to Their radio. I was not happy with the Radio manufacturers tuner and returned it. I ordered the AT-11MP and am very pleased with it. By the way LDG is extremely easy to deal direct with

Super Tuner for the Price: Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I purchased the LDG AT-11 autotuner as an alternative to the more expensive autotuners on the market. To my surprise it will tune a G5RV on everything but 160M unless you short out the center lead and shield from the coax and connect it like an end fed zep.
The tuner seems well shielded and is easy to operate. You can download the manual from the LDG homepage to find out more about it. If you don't run high power and need a good all purpose autotuner it would make a great accessory to your shack.

Tunes anything! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I use a G5RV half length and this tuner makes the antenna work from 6 to 80 meters without a glitch. All with an SWR of under 1.5. The rattling of the relays takes some getting use to, but only lasts a second or two. LDG's customer service is also fantastic! E mails are returned quickly and questions answered immediately. I've used the tuner on a vertical and a tri-band beam with excellent results on all bands! Can't beat this machine!!

LDG AT11-MP Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Bought unit preassembeled from factory, it worked great until......the dreaded 2 meter fm-cw
bug showed up and the unit wouldn't auto tune by pressing the 706's tune button. Of course
this was AFTER i rewired the 12 Vdc power circuit. Actually cut the + trace on the board and
put jimper wires on both sides of the trace which went to an on/off switch located on front panel.
with my grossly oversixed pinkies I managed to severly damage a trimmer cap which lead to
a FREE and QUICK replacement from LDG. after me messing with the unit for a couple of weeks and still not getting the unit to auto tune from the 706's tune button i returned the unit
for repair to the company. Of course they were baffelled by the units behavior, BUT thanks
to their persistence they found a bad ground connection on the PC board. I have the greatest
respect and admiration for Dwayne and Jennifer, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PRODUCT, SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, You can't beat them if you want the best there is in an automtic 150 watt all band tuner......John

I love my LDG QRP Model tuner ! Time Owned: unknown months.
I built the LDG QRP Model tuner about a month ago. I found that the kit went together easily but I would agree that it's not for a first time builder..... or someone with poor eyes. A magnifier helps greatly in part identification as well as soldering some of the close pads. The kit worked great from the first time I powered it on. It tunes my home antenna and the wires I string in the field within 1.5 seconds to a swr of 1.5 or generally less. The new Z-11 qrp version with it's latching relays may be best for those interested in battery operation with no way to recharge but for the extra $50 you save buying the qrp you can buy another kit . Support from LDG was excellent as well...... I was missing some hardware from my kit but they sent it right out to me with no problem. I rate this kit very highly.... it works VERY well.

Excellent product and great company support Time Owned: unknown months.
I am completely satisfied with this product and the company. When I recieved my kit, two of the toroids were borken and a resistor was missing. I notified the company and they sent the parts with no additional cost and no fuss. The kit was easy to build and workd the first time.

I definitely recommend this product and company!

Good auto tuner for the price Time Owned: unknown months.
Built the AT-11MP model. Excellant manual including color photos of various components. Very reasonable price for what is provided. Not a kit to be built by a novice kit builder. One circuit board was the wrong version number and couldn't be installed. The factory sent the correct one priority mail as soon as they were notified of the error. Not too pleased with the interface operation with an Icom 706 MKII. With the tuner plugged into the Icom, you can't transmit on 2 meters without an uncontrolled flip-flopping between CW and FM modes. Will be installing a switch to disconnect the interface wires when I want to use 2 meters. I consider the problems minor and the price sure beats what Icom wants for an auto tuner! The 706 and tuner are both mounted in my mobile (Ford F-150). I had to make a bracket for the tuner out of 1-1/2 inch wide, 1/8 inch aluminum stock. LDG may want to offer a bracket in the future.

Excellent tuner Time Owned: unknown months.
I built one of the first 100 kits in 1996 and the only word of warning is to be very carefull about the orientation of the main IC socket. It is very easy to install 180 degrees from what it should be. The instructions were very good and the construction is relatively simple. It will find a tune for almost anything anywhere. Would definately by the new model if I needed a new tuner.

It works, but I'm miffed Time Owned: unknown months.
The autotuner works well enough for me. I bought the factory-assembled version.

It's just that a month after I bought the AT-11 tuner, the company came out with its new whiz-bang AT-11 MP tuner for practically the same price. I feel that in fairness they should have notified me of the new tuner and offered to allow me to wait one month for it and pay the extra.

Instead, they just shipped the old model and let it ride. "Gee, let's clear out this old stuff while we can."
