Just rebuilt mine after 19 years of service! Time Owned: unknown months.
Mine TX2 quit working after almost 20 years of service (bought new in 1979!) It is now back in the air, turning a TH7DX beam that was bought in 1983.
I also have a Ham IV but only 2 years on it.

Tried, tested, reliable. Time Owned: unknown months.
I've had a T2X turning a Mosley PRO-57A (100 lbs,
7 elements on a 24 ft boom) for almost 9 years at two different locations. I installed an automatic brake-delay about 6 years ago, which I think should be standard equipment. I rate the T2X four stars only because I wish it had a preset. It would be 5 stars with a preset. No problems ever with this unit. Affordable and reliable, the T2X is highly recommended.

A fine rotator Time Owned: unknown months.
I use two tailtwisters, both of which are fully loaded. The start/run capacitors are mounted right at the rotator. I wish the control box offered presets and brake delay (I added the latter), but these are very low-tech machines and have worked reliably for me in all weather. One problem, as N2MG notes, is the poor starting performance. I believe it's dirty limit switches, which requires disassebling the rotator to fix, but I've always been able to start the rotators after a little effort. In terms of price/performance ratio, the Tailtwister is really good.

Rock me, baby. Time Owned: unknown months.
I had a T2X up for 8 years, turning a large tribander - weathering one Hurricane. The only trouble I ever had with it was the fact that you had to rock it a bit to get it to start rotating - this began only after several years. Many different explanations have been offered - most likely the wedge brake hangs up a bit.

Great Rotator Time Owned: unknown months.
I have a few of these up at my place. I have not had one fail yet. Of course, I'm not turning HUGE antennas either. But I was turning a 2 element 40M yagi and a 7 element 10M with one for several years. For a tribander and 2 element 40 meter beam, you can't do better.
