NICE PERFORMER ! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Output measured at over 100 watts using several meters ! It has always performed very well with no relay chatter. I use it on C.W. / S.S.B. using the FT-817 as a driver. It certainly has my stamp of approval !

Great Amp Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
MIRAGE B-310-G
If you need a little extra pwr to make that contact then this low pwr vhf amp will do it for you.I ordered it direct from Mirage and within
8 days I had it in-line with my Icom706mk11G.I reduced the vhf pwr (internally) on the radio to get correct drive for the amp.
At first the amp kept cutting out and the swr light would come on, well at least the protection circuit is good I thought!I located the problem to RF on the dc lead so I put a couple of ferrite rings on the lead and it's 100% since.
The dc lead on my amp is only 2 feet long!
Just as well I have no plans to use it /M.
It runs cool at max pwr out.The fan is located on the bottom of the amp and only comes on when transmitting.
The pre-amp is a help with weak stations but its not something you want to leave switched on.
According to my swr/watt meter (Revex W540),
with 2watts drive I get 100 out.
I use it on ssb and drive it to full output anytime I go on VHF.
I havent used it on FM or CW yet.
To sum it up.....
If you need more pwr for your vhf radio or handheld with low drive I recommend the Mirage B-310-G.
