Super Program! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I can't reiterate enough how fantastic L32 is. The features/ stability and support is superb. L32 is a remarkable logging program with tons of features! It is supported by a cadre of dedicated hams who keep the features up to date. I have used other programs for logging/ rig control/ award tracking but L32 is more intuitive and easy to use. There are many 'fail-safe' features of L32, so if you have a difficulty, you can easily recover. Bob Furzer K4CY is the author and is actively involved with the user community.

The GroupIO is extremely active and helpful.

I run it on Windows 10 with absolutely no problems.

I love Logger... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Hi all,

I have been using Logger32 for at least 20 years.

Of course, I'm used to it now, but I'm still amazed and amazed at how 'well thought out' this software is.

Besides, I like Bob's character!

An Attaboy for him!

Best Free package out there Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Further update, since no one has done one in a year or so. After 19 years, Logger 32 continues to be updated monthly and run circles around every other logging program out there.

It provides full situational awareness, can be configured to look the way that you want, is not a computer system resource hog like other programs, and lets you make the most effective use of operating time. I wouldn't have gotten 5 Band DXCC using just a multiband dipole without it.

The latest version now even connects to WSJT-X directly via UDP for all of the digital modes there (FT4, FT8, etc) and compares current stations being heard with your log to color highlight those stations of most use to you.

You can optionally even have it cherry pick and instruct WSJT to contact them for you! It tries 3 times and if contact, isn't made, it goes on to the next one and eventually circles back if the station reappears! For fun, it took me just three weeks of intermittent operating to repeat WAS, and work 97 countries this way.

As always, it's strength and weakness are both that it is very powerful and very customizable. But once you get it set up the way you want , it is very robust and stable.

Still love this program after 11 years and I do software development management for a living. It leads the pack for a free full featured station contol program since Ham Radio Deluxe now costs $90.

BTW, automatic LOTW upload and download is now very easy using N2AMG's free LOTW-eQSL_Utility.

I just upgraded to the latest version of the software and still find it the best for maintaining "Situational Awareness" about what is happening on the bands and how it affects your operation. It's amazing to be able have a free piece of software, have it monitor the cluster, tell you whether a spot is important to you and tune your rig and point your antenna at it.

Likewise the fully integrated PSK and RTTY functions ease logging in those modes as well. Integration with LOTW and other QSL programs is a breeze. Full ADIF support is provided for import and export.

Now, because it is so feature rich and very customizable to your own specific needs, it does take time to set up. But a 400 page manual (fully indexed for electronic searching) has most of the answers. If after searching that and the message archives on the Yahoo Group, you'll find your friendly answers there from the volunteers who provide support.

needs a few tweaks Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Loaded on new computer with Windows 10 and worked right away. makes sure you have the latest version of the 'free' logging program. It would be nice if country/entity name came up in a box in the main page. Could use updating for digital mode logging. But for a "free" program what more could you ask for. Learn how to use it before making a critique on e-ham. That goes for any product!!!!

Outstanding Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Outstanding is the only word to describe this piece of free software. The work that has gone into it and the continued development and tweaking makes this the only logging software you need.

With the built in elements, such as digital voice keyer, CW keyer, NCDXF beacon chaser, DX cluster, satellite tracker, band map and many more features, it does the lot.

If you are looking to get a logger then get this one.

Brilliant Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've used Logger32 for years and it's always delivered. For a piece of free software, written by a multinational team of volunteers, it is excellent and could teach some of the paid software providers a thing or two.

I recently helped a friend of mine put it on his new Windows 10 laptop. No problem at all and he's also very pleased with it.

Great Stuff Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Been using this since 2004 and never felt the need to change. Does all I need; logging with CAT compatibility with many transceivers, award tracking, DX Cluster, auto lookups from QRZ.com & HamQTH.com, rotator control, PSK & RTTY and now links to the JT/FT8 software (I believe more work is in progress regarding this feature).
No problems with Windows 10 but do make sure the program is set to run as administrator.
