Works GREAT! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The N4UAU power booster works like a champ. Have used my Toshiba Tecra 8100 Notebook laptop aboard my sailboat powered through the booster for over two years during two North Atlantic crossings in all weather conditions without any problems with it. Produces no rf hash in the receiver which is a far cry from the horrible noise I used to get when trying to power the laptop with a 200W inverter. Going to order another soon just to have a backup in case I drop one in the water.

Very good Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The power booster works as claimed. I used it for two years on my sailboat, which has limited power generating capability for powering an IBM laptop requiring 17 volts DC. There was no evidence of RFI from the booster. The current consumption was not excessive and there were no problems with it. It is worth the money for this application. I am buying another for a new laptop that requires a different voltage input.
