    I purchased a subscription to the Amateur Extra prep, studied half days over the four day new year's weekend, and aced the exam on tuesday's session. This guided course really works well. I wish that I would have known about this when studying for Tech and General... 73's :-)

    I decided to take the plunge on taking my Amateur Extra exam approximately 4 months ago. I had Used HamTestOnline for my previous 2 exams with great success. So, The first thing I did was to come back and sign up again. To be fair, I used the ARRL's Extra Exam guide as well as numerous online videos and websites but for prepping for the specific question pool and overall familiarity with the exam, HTOL was instrumental in passing. I nailed it in one try. It wouldn't have happened without them.
    So, credit goes to HOTL for passing all 3 license level on the first shot. I will be advocating this site for every prospective ham I come across. Major Kudos! I really owe you guys! Thank you!

    Outstanding Prep Tool for the Amateur Extra Exam! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
    I was a VE but only had a General License. I could only help by grading Technician Exams. One elder VE suggested I look at HamTestOnline because it helped him learn the material. HamTestOnline broke the discussion of the material into digestible pieces while continually reviewing all of the material. I followed the suggested practice of 45-60 minutes a day, every day, and I was ready within a few weeks, confident that I understood the material. HamTestOnline really wants to help you advance. I was a VE and had done three exams within the last year (this is required) and since I was a General going for my Extra, they allowed me to use the software for free for 6 months. I could even go back to study the material for the Technician and General Exams if I wanted. I am really impressed with HamTestOnline and have recommended it to several of my General/VE friends of mine. Fantastic Software!

    Great study guide. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
    Used Ham Test Online to help get my Technician a year ago. After working with my local ARES team I knew I needed my General. Got serious and used Ham Online along with the ARRL General book and studied hard for four weeks and easily passed the General exam on my first try. Once I have some experience under my belt I will be back to study for my Extra.

    I appreciate the way Ham Online automatically repeats your weak spots and the ability to specify the topic to study and also the drills on the questions I was weakest on. I have recommended Ham Test Online to several folks.

    This is a great online review and exam prep service. It presents just enough information to understand the topic and with smart, targeted repetition asks you the exam questions until you become proficient. I passed my Extra exam easily after using the service for a couple of months (30-60 minutes of study every day or so).
