    Very good course Time Owned: more than 12 months.
    I bought HamTestOnline as a Christmas gift to myself hoping to finally pass the Extra License. I was a little hit and miss at first and finally decided to dive right in and study the material properly. The program tracks your progress and helps you with review. Practice tests are also available to help keep you on track. I passed the Extra Exam the first time (I'm terrible with tests) and I would recommend this course fully.

    I bought Tech and General - to review Tech and upgrade to General. A couple weeks after enjoying those courses, I added Extra and planned out an Exam session -
    I put in about 65 hrs over a month or so -
    I passed both my General and Extra on 12-9-2021.
    Note - once i felt comfortable with General pre-tests, I focused on Extra - Dont forget detail review of General questions before sitting for test - my General test was "harder" for me than the Extra.

    Can't delete comments, so removed previous comments and filled with neutral words. The system does seem pretty expensive when there are other good sources that are free.

    Good Testing Prep Tool Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
    Used it for both Technical and extra. Passed on First attempt for each. Fun and easy to use. Good algorithms for focusing on problem areas.

    I have used HamTestOnline to pass both my Technician and General Class licenses. Excellent preparation and intuitive software that revisits your weak areas. I passed my tests the first time taken and scored 100% on each test. I am now using them again to study for my Extra license.

    A good way to go Time Owned: more than 12 months.
    HTOL is very good and continues to improve. Although over ten years since I upgraded to extra, it is a great bang for bucks approach for new and upgrade minded hams and is advantageous for those who spend many hours per day looking at a computer screen. Anyone can learn, pass a test, or both. Yes I will give it 5 stars

    Seems excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
    I signed up for the extra prep about 2 weeks ago. I like the way it reinforces my weak points. I plan on taking the test in 2 weeks, and am pretty confidant that I will pass. If I pass then my rating will go from good to great. BTW I am terrible at math and not very good at electrical theory.

    UPDATE: Today 12/2/21 I passed the Extra exam. I gave it the suggested 30 hours, which I broke up into 20-30 minutes sessions. Made the test seem easy, they didn't give me my score just said congrats.

    i like hamtestonline because it precisely targets the areas needing more study, provides instruction, and everyone that uses hto to study passes the exam.

    personally used hamtestonline to study for all my tickets, including a 50/50 on the extra.

    as a volunteer examiner i've seen results first hand many times.

    What a great way to prepare for Extra! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
    After being a General for almost 50 years, I decided I needed to fulfill my ham destiny and pass the Extra exam. I asked around and got an enthusiastic recommendation for HamTestOnline. I signed up for the course and started studying. After about 30 hours of study and review, and practice test scores of 94% or more, I felt I was ready. I took the test and passed on the first try, only missing 2 questions. I highly recommend this course, especially if you are interested in understanding the material, not just memorizing the answers.

    I’m a beginner in the amateur radio world. I’m looking for a hobby that I can eventually carry into retirement. After buying a handheld I joined HamTestOnline.com to help me study for the Technician exam. After 15 hours of study I took and passed the exam with a score of 100%. The course is setup nicely and worked well for me. It identifies your weak points and spends extra time in those areas. You don’t really need to be strong in electrical theory or math as long as you can memorize things well. The questions are almost identical to what’s on the test, including the math.
