    Oh No! HamTestOnLIne to close Time Owned: more than 12 months.
    John W1AI creator and owner of HamTestOnline has announced he is retiring and will close this fantastic website effective June 30. Over the years I have recommended it (and gifted subscriptions) to many of the prospective Hams I have mentored, as well as licensed Hams looking to upgrade. I used it myself when upgrading to Extra. I don't know of anyone who has used it and then failed their test...be it Tech, General, or Extra. If you have been thinking of upgrading, or have a prospective Ham you have been Elmering, now is the time to consider this learning course. It is very reasonably priced and it works!

    And just for the record - I have no connection to HamTestOnline other than being a satisfied user.

    Just do it! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
    I used HTO for my General and Extra preparation. All three of my tests I spread out by 2 years. Just wanted to take a little more time with the process and learn more. HTO was spot on for me. About 20 hrs for General and 30 hrs for Extra. I followed the study advice closely. About 20 days of study for both exams. Scored 100% on General and 96% on Extra. For a 7 decade old brain, I have to say, this is the way to go! Thanks again Greg and HTO. Very impressive product.

    I passed the extra, so I highly recommend this program. When I say "follow the instructions," I mean that I would use the "study mode" versus rushing to take the tests.

    The best study program Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
    If you would actually like to learn about radio instead of just memorizing test questions, this is the study program to use. They give you nice short lessons then the questions the information pertains to. They always include links for more information. The program really does figure out where you're struggling and will hammer that info home until you understand it. It's not going to make you an instant radio god but it definitely gives you more than enough to pass the tests and understand what's actually going on. I used them for all three tests and had no issues at all. Actually knowing the information is a lot like cheating, a lot easier than trying to memorize the extra exam question pool!

    Great Study Aid Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
    Decided to get my Extra, and found "Ham Tests Online" on sale, so i took the plunge.

    Spent about 30 hours studying and took the test. Passed with flying colors.

    The information is presented in such a way, that I really understood and retained the information.

    Highly recommend for anyone wishing to take the plunge.

    Excellent Ham Testing Study Website Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
    This website definitely helped me pass my Element 4 Extra Class exam! I put 60 hours into studying less than 3 months! They have an excellent and easy format that let me retain the knowledge for passing the exam. Also it was fun!
    If you want to learn the hobby this is the best one available and worth the price was also. This format way better than just studying the answers! Just remember you do have to put the work into studying!

    Just passed my Extra exam with help from HamTestOnline. It helped with my General too. Excellent program. The way it feeds the questions, prompting in weak areas, is perfect. Definitely worth the money.

    I'm 72 and found that it was hard to remember the material. Bought several books on passing General and had no luck until I started studying using HamTestOnline. I got 35 question out of 35 correct. Now working on Extra
