Outstanding Product and Support Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After about a 20 year break from Ham radio, I purchased a Yaesu FT-991 and put up an OCF dipole. I also downloaded HRD. I had trouble configuring it and got online support from Tim, KB3NPH who used remote software and did the setup for me. Tim was very responsive and did the call on a holiday! Every company should take lessons from HRD and Tim about how to support a product. If you have not tried HRD, you can download a fully working demo version. It is so powerful, give it a try!

Great Logging Software Time Owned: more than 12 months.
First let me say that I have absolutely NO affiliation with HRD other than an end user. I have been an avid user of HRD for many years now and really like the interface and flexibility it offers to the end user. It can be easily configured to meet each end users preferences. I personally have NEVER had any issues using it and the support is great also. I continue to purchase the yearly support option even though I have only used it twice and the issue was my error not the software. Are there bugs in it yes as with all software. Purchasing the yearly support helps the developers, support staff, and the company to continue providing a quality product year by year. So in my humble opinion if you don't purchase the support yearly then you have no reason or right to complain about the products performance. I base my opinion as a 25 year software developer and sustainment member for the US government now retired. So if you want a nice stable multi-purpose Ham Radio software this is it. 73 and GL to all

New Install could not connect Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I upgraded drives and the C drive became D and the slave with a new SSD drive being the main. I have paid for the tech service for many years but never need to use it until now. I sent a note in and even on new years day got a reply and was fixed right a way. Trust is all we have with software and you can sure trust HRD.

Persistent in resolving software issue Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I really tied a knot in the system when migrating to a new Windows 10 machine (from a Windows 8 platform) while changing my callsign at the same time. Still don’t know what I did, but am grateful for the responsiveness and persistence of the support team, especially Ferry, who worked deep into the registry of my machine and into the registration records of HRD to resolve the problem swiftly and completely.

Best in class for customer service. Quick, responsive, knowledgable. Keven had me going and fine tuned my set up in less than 30 minutes. Been running HRD from the start, but just bought “maintenance”and what a difference. No more wasted time everything works 100%. My IC7700 and HRD fit like glove. W4RMS

I cant imagine Ham Radio without HRD and its 5* support. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using this application for at least 5 years and it has always provided everything I need to support my amateur radio activity, not only for my own callsign biut also for the many club special event callsigns which I manage. Recently a Microsoft Office update went badly wrong and despite two MS Office Support remote control sessions the end result was a Win 10 Reset which trashed everything including all my HRD logbooks. HRD tech support in the shape of Ferry PD9XXX displayed endless patience and determination to get everything working again. MS zero HRD ten+

Had Problems and sent a fix request they responded with a fix and was unable to fix on my own so they repaired it remotely and made sure I was happy with the fix.

Terrific support! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been an enthusiastic HRD user for many years and had never had one bit of bother with the program -- until yesterday. It was then that repeated attempts to install the latest iteration of this excellent program failed. After some hours, in desperation, I contacted HRD's support team and was soon in touch with Ferry, FD9FER, in the Netherlands (I'm in Maryland).

He -- on a weekend evening, yet (1900 hours, his time! -- exhibited immense patience as he guided me through the process and eventually, after some fumbling on my end, took remote control of my computer and resolved the problem.

I could not be a bigger fan of the software, HRD's support system and -- most especially -- my new friend from Holland, Ferry, PD9FER!

I have been a HRD user for a few years and when I reached 49,000+ qso's in the program it became a little slow. I attempted to load and configure the MariaDB with an excellent video on YouTube. Things didn't go as planned so I submitted a help request to HRD support and received very quickly a message back from Ferry PD9FER.
Let me tell you I was amazed at his speed and agility getting me fixed up. He ended up having to reinstall HRD and JTalert using TeamViewer to get things working for me. I felt bad for the tying up his time but he stayed right with me until all was back to normal. He even waited for me to work a FT-8 contact and log it before leaving a job well done.
One thing bad about HRD? It works so well I forget how I set things up :-)

Outstanding HRD Support. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using HRD for over 15 years but finally decided to upgrade to V6 last week for all the added facilities and radio support. Have always used it as my main logging programme and the DM780 support for digital modes CW, PSK and SSTV etc.

Since registering, downloading and installing on both my computers, one worked perfectly, the other had various logging problems.

Raising a problem support ticket resulted in timely response. Many many thanks to my "Local" allocated peer support Ferry, PD9FER who stuck with the problem until resolved. I watched via Teamviewer and was impressed with his determination in resolving the problem. Ultimately, this resulted in a complete reinstall of HRD, WSJT-X and JTAlert. He removed many Windows 10 residual anomalies in various folders and then installed a few updated required extra Windows libraries not included with the HRD install.

I am really glad and impressed that the remote support worked so well since phone calls were not an option for me here in North East Scotland. 73's, George, GM0VGI
