Review Summary For : March Vertical Model
Reviews: 2MSRP: 100
Description:
Iambic key using magnets instead of springs. Very small footprint: 2x2 inches, and 4 inches high. Heavy cast iron base, brass parts. Very adjustable. Can be tilted right or left for those that prefer their key to be angled. Appearance is reminiscent of the Vibroplex Wire Chief, but smaller.

The Iambic "Wire Chief" Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Michael has designed an incredible vertical model of his R3a iambic paddles. The March Vertical has a similar appearance to the rare Vibroplex "Wire Chief" vertical bug. Very smooth "click" feel and every bit as precise as the WBL V22.

A single magnet is raised or lowered to determine lever force. It's very adjustable: fine threaded screws give repeatability. Micahel included the ability to rotate the entire mechanism on a pivot to adjust to your operating comfort.

Very pleased, overall.

Small footprint. excellent feel. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought this at the Winchester, VA, hamfest - got Serial #3 !

Very nice key. You can adjust it to a very small movement. Has a clicky, snappy feel but is quiet. One nice feature is that you can rotate it left or right, so the paddles are at any angle you prefer.
