Excellent Accessory Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have purchased the FT-2800, FT-8800, FT-100d, IC-2100h, TH-F6a, and the quick reference operating guide. I am very satisfied with them. The print is necessarily small, but very readable.
To have this concise information on laminated cards for portable use is extreemly valuable especially for functions that are seldom used!
If you are into emcomm, these are essential for your 'GO' kit.
I did not order one for my FT-847 because I seldom use it in portable operations. I have decided to order one for the shack anyway. It will save the manual and if I spill coffee on it, no problem!
I recommend them with a well known credit card slogan..."Don't leave home without it!"

Necessity for mobiles Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Just echoing the positive reviews. These guides are essential for packing in the car or on trips instead of the full user manual.

Great, but.... Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
One one minor nit - the HT's I bought these for have a tendency to lose their keypad lettering and function key markings. It would be VERY nice if pictures of the keypad & such were in the Nifty manuals. Otherwise, an excellent job, IMHO. My old FT-23R came with one of these from Yaesu, and I've often wished for something like that for newer toys.

Great Space Saver Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought a number of the mini-manuals to take on the road. They contain all the info that you need to operate the radios' advanced features. I have quite a few radios and I have not memorized all of the commands. Taking along the full sized manual is too cumbersome. The Nifty manuals are small and fit easily in my briefcase or travel bag. The lamination makes them tough enough so that they do not get crushed by other items. Great idea for a great product.

This is a great reference for on-the-go or base OPS. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a very Hi-Q product. The Nifty Mini-Manual for
the IC-706MKIIG is very logically laid out, easy to
understand, and it takes the operator quickly from the
basics needed for simple QSOing to the more advanced
functions such as band scope operation, split
frequency operation, and memory scan. I recently
returned from a four month stint of working and
hamming on Johnston Island (KH3-land). The IC-706MKIIG
was my rig of choice for this portable operation; I
bought it when I got out there. I did OK in the
pile-ups and I am pleased with my ~1500 contacts
while operating /KH3. However, if I had the Nifty
Mini-Manual for the IC-706MKIIG when I was under the
gun, it would have helped to streamline my one-man
operation and made me that much swifter at setting up,
QSOing, QSYing, running contest-style contacts, and in
the pile-ups - especially running split freq. when the
bands were wide open into Europe. Some of the many
attributes of the Mini-Manual that I really like are:
1) It not only describes the functions of the radio
and how to execute them, but also includes a short
explanation of why the function is useful. 2) A
concise Table Of Contents, Symbol Key, and list of
Front Panel Controls gets the OP off to a quick start.
3) The Mini-Manual is fully plasticized (water
resistant) and there were many occasions when my
outdoor ham radio session experienced the sudden onset
of a tropical rain squall. I definitely could have
used this Mini-Manual four months ago in the Central
Pacific but I am very glad to now have it as part of
my portable station; it goes wherever the IC-706MKIIG
goes.
