decent headphones Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use mine during contest or weak signals. "Here" are my 2 cents. Pros: The headphone has very good sound. Light weight. The actual headphones are fairly small. Great fit with me. Works well in conjunction with Boom mic when needed. Has both 1/4 and 3.5mm jacks.
Cons: It's built on the "cheaper" side. Do not toss in a to go bag because they will break. Any kind of heavy use, contest stations or DX-peditions they will not hold up. If you take care of them with proper storage when not in use and just one single user, you're ok that's about it.
Overall, they work for me.

Decent headphones Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought these headphones for my K3 because they have a stereo plug, they are lightweight and because of the reviews here on eham. They are very comfortable and the audio is very nice. Unfortunately the K3 adds a little hiss, so I bought an inline volume control.
Update 2022:
I´ve tried several headphones in the last couple of years, but the Yaesu remain my favourite ones. Choosing headphones is a very personal thing as everybody knows. I´ve bought a second pair because the ball-joint of the original ones broke after some years of almost daily use. I used glue to fix it. Then I had problems with the cables and so it was time for new ones.
In my ham radio career I´ve found out, that not every good headphone really works well with all my receivers. I mean they work but I´m always looking for the best receive audio. Through trial and error, I bought headphones new or on the used market and sold them again if I didn´t like them. The Yaesu work best with my K3, the AOR 7030.They are not built like a tank, so I treat them carefully and I can wear them for hours without fatigue or pain.

Good sound but too much fragile Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It sounds good and it's light that's OK but was poor made. Even if I always pay extremely attention handling my devices and never it felt down, one of the pavillions support bracket (the one in which moves the steel bar to adjust position) was broken 2 times. I repaired with Loctite but it broke again. It's really thin and probably made in fragile plastic material.
Now it is travelling to the garbage

No Problems Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
A 12 month follow up report on the YH-77STA headphones - still as happy as when I first bought them, these are used daily.

Very good sound Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Despite all the negative reviews I decided to try them. They are light weight and sound fantastic. Yes they do seem fragile at the ball joint. Just be gentle with them.

Cheap junk! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Paid $90 from HRO. It has broken twice. Glued together twice. As others have said the sound quality is good but the construction/design is poor. Disappointed that Yaesu would put their name on this inferior product. Don't blame HRO for selling it but they actually recommend it.

Top comms headphones Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Have owned for 5 years+ and still the communication headphones of choice.
Clear as hell...... Bang on for the job, try them.......
Purchased them for communications and never looked back, wish I had a box full of these puppies.... The very best from yaesu so far without a doubt... Tried to better them and in all fairness can't find an alternative,,, a true 5 out of 5...

Still the comms headphones of choice in my shack....
