Great antennas & great service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I'm amazed at how well my EF-20 works everytime I use it. It's a night and day difference compared to my dipole. A few weeks ago I noticed the SWR was high and wrote to Dale. He promptly replied "Check your coax!". Sure enough, he was right. I own the EF-10/20/40 as well, but I'll also order additional bands as these antennas simply offer the best bang for the buck!

20-20-20 - 5,000 miles Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Got my EF-20 in the mail yesterday. Lacking any antenna analyzer, no trimming possible. Fixed it to 2nd floor window and let it run the whole length to 20 feet high squid pole. Switched on my FT897D and happily watched SWR displaying 1:1. Went on 20m band with radio running on internal batteries (limiting power to 20 Watts)and worked Yokohama from Sydney (5,000 miles). Got signal report 5/5.
20 feet high - 20 Watts - 20m band - 5,000 miles
What else you expect from an antenna weighing about 5 ounces.
Oh, forgot to tell that I live in the middle of Sydney. Can't wait for next outback trip to see this tiny antenna talking to the whole world

EF30 Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using an EF-30 for over a year. The antenna is made from quality materials and is easy to install. I am well pleased with the antenna after working 152 DXCC entities.

Very Happy After 3 + Years Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I originally commented on this antenna (EF-20) back in 2006. Living on a small suburban lot my space creates restrictions common to many hams. As a casual operator this antenna has been an excellent solution and a terrific performer.It replaced a very expensive C'Craft no radials vertical due to its ease of installation and better performance. I regularly check into my favorite nets and have had my share of QSO's and "DX" with this antenna. Most notably, I spent some time over the holidays recabling my antennas and doing maintenance. I was quite surprised to see how well this antenna has held up over 3+ years. My installation has the antenna on a 15 foot push up mast (on a shed in the backyard) with the wire as a sloper into a mass of trees. Over the years we have had our share of N'Easters and Summer T' Storms as well as high wind events, ice, etc. I expected to see quite a bit of wear and tear on the Flexweave as it is in direct contact with a tree... but it was in remarkably good shape. Also the matchbox was in great shape despite years of weather and UV. Given the simplicity of operation, years of good performance, its remarkable durability, and excellent value I think this product is still well deserving of a "5" rating. I would certainly buy another. BTW...I have no relationship to PAR Electronics other than being a happy customer:}

EF-40 Very FB Antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had the EF-40 for several years.
In fact I bought another EF-40 and had it sent to a friend in St James, MO just before Christmas
in hopes he would get on 40Mtr CW. Not up yet due to WX there.
My EF-40 works as good now as it did when new.
I did modify it to a Half-Square some time ago.
Just add another 1/2 wave of wire, string in the trees as an upside down U. Still fed at one end.
3db gain off broadsides. This is not a QRO antenna! Was not meant to be. If folks would put too much power to it - I suspect it would become very deaf on rcve and mute on xmit. Having said that, any problems with this antenna should be addressed to Par Electronics. I know for a fact they have replaced several antennas even though it was due to misuse. Very good folks to deal with and I can not understand the Negative review.

Pathetic Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I thought I repeat the Test with another Par End Fed after I was Disapointed over the Performance of Par End Fed I bought, so I borrowed a Par EF-40 from a Friend to compare it to my home made 1/4 Vertical in a A/B Test. The Results were the same like with the Par End Fed I had bought before, my home made 1/4 Vertical picked up DX Signals I could not hear with the Par End End Fed. I changed even the Cables between Antenna A and B, still same. It was anywhere on the Band with the DX-Signals the same, switching from my 1/4 Vertical to the Par End Fed, they Disappear. When I look at the Advertising and the Praises for this Product it remind me Clowns: Exagerations to make Fun, only in the Case of the "End Fed" it became a bad Joke.

Good antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the EF-17 and I first set it up vertically with the feed a foot off the ground. Using my FT817 to listen I heard a ZL finish a QSO with a US station. I called the ZL and he knew I was in there calling but couldn't pull me out. Well, I was only running 5 watts -- and it was SSB too! :-D Only "drawback" to the PAR is the power limit -- no QRO versions... other than that, 1/2 wave end fed is simple and effective.

Fantastic Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used the 20 meter end fed at vacation houses at both the mountains and the beach. Easy to install and low profile. Works great. Small and light weight for travel.

Awesome!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I don't make many comments about products but after the last reviewer bashed these fine antenna's I feel I must throw my 2 cents worth in. I have an EF-20, EF-10-20-40 and the SWL. I got my WAS at the bottom of the cycle easily with my EF-20 which I guess is not that great of an accomplishment but I have worked contacts all over the world with PSK and 30 watts with no difficulty. At about $60.00 a piece I don't think you'll find a better deal. The quality is excellent and Dale is outstanding to deal with. I can only guess that the last reviewer didn't tune it right or there is was a problem with the matching box, either way I'm sure Dale would have helped sort it out. I've been wanting an EF-30 for a while so I think I'll start the New Year of right and order one right now. Thanks Dale!

Excellent Antennas Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I purchased the EF-20 and EF-40 antennas for use as my primary antennas using digital and SSB voice. They have worked excellent for such a simple antenna and are up and running within a minute or two. Ive received consistently good reports and plenty of dx.. South Africa, Japan, and Central Australia just to name a few. SWR is great. Didnt have to trim-tune the EF20 for a 1:1 on all frequencies and get 1:1 to 1:5swr on the EF40. I run mine as slopers pulled up to the top of a 35' tree sloped down to 7'. I just swap them out when I want to use the selected band. As far as portable I couldnt imagine anything easier to use with a high level of performance.
