Outstanding Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
So good it's scary. I strung the wire from a window ledge up 15 feet to the top of a wooden fence at about 6 feet. Barely a sloper. It is mounted in a dense neighborhood of 2-story houses completely surrounded.

I ran a 3 foot section of RG-8X out the window, disconnected the ground from the radio and turned it on. The antenna resonated at 14.010. I tested it from 14.010 to 14.070 which is where 90% of all my operating is done... CW of course. The SWR was flat at 1.1 to 1 at 14.070 and NO needle movement at all at 14.010. Awesome.

After a couple of fuzzy contacts (due to QRM) in Minnesota from my station near Sacramento, California I was amazed by the performance. The next contact was in Harvard, MA, with solid copy and a nice comfortable QSO... nearly full quieting and RSTs 589. Then Japan with solid copies.

So let me see: First 3000 miles east to Harvard, then 5000 miles west to Nagano, Japan from a single wire, using under 90 watts, strung in a canyon of stucco houses. Not bad!

It is so refreshing to have a product that works as advertised without hassles and available at a reasonable price.

Tomorrow I'll order the 40 meter version...

EF-20H on 40 meters Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have used an EF-20H in stealth mode at our Winter QTH in an antenna restricted community for a couple of years with great results. The radiating wire was replaced with #24 enamel wire, so it is pretty much invisible.

I am now also using this antenna very successfully on 40 Meters. I know there are instructions on the Par website that tells how to modify the EF-20 for 40M use, but then it would not operate on 20. All I did was connect a 33 ft. counterpoise wire to the PL-259 shell at the matching unit and use the rig's internal tuner to tame the resultant 3.3:1 SWR down so the K3 would like it.

Thought others would find this interesting.

Great Service and Product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've had the pleasure of both ordering and using several of the End Fedz line of antennae. All have shown great workmanship and have held up under extreme conditions. Knowing that one can install these models in a hurry under adverse conditions is a true safety net. Also it should be mentioned, each time I emailed an order, it was followed up on and shipped promptly. The most recent of these orders was received within one week to my door for signature. Will I purchase again - gladly. Great service - great product and an over all warm and fuzzy feeling when dealing with this company - they care and it shows. Thanks Randy & Larry for continuing the tradition and thanks to Dale for coming up with a design that fits my bill perfectly.

Figured it out Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Update on my review, I figured out my Dish receiver was creating all kinds of QRN, I turned it off and now the PAR is a whole different antenna! Duh.

Verry nice Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I honestly don't think you can get on air more easy then with this antenna. I have used both the EF-40 and EF-20 antenna with very good results. I mostly used them during holiday trips and field day activities.
Make no mistake, this is not a magical antenna, such antenna's just don't exist.
I also know that a simple dipole will work just as well but this thing is more easy to put up en will preform almost the same.
I've used my EF-20 vertically attached to a 12 meter fiber glass pole with the feed point 2 meters of the ground. Simple and effective.
Some of my friends have used my EF-20 as well and accept for one of them, who used it in on a city lot, they all were very surprised how well it preformed.
As a reference, on HF I have used dipoles, 1/4 wave verticals, vertical arrays, mono- and multiband yagis and even stacked yagis so I do have something to compare it with.
Dale responded very quick to my emails. I wanted to pay for the antenna a little different then usual and that wasn't a problem for Dale.
However, the End Fedz antennas are no longer manufactured by PAR. If your looking for the End Fedz antennas, you can find them at LNR Presicion.

AWESOME Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the 20h model a few weeks ago. I don’t have an analyzer so basically I ran 50 feet of coax I hung the matchbox end from the top of my chimney and attached the other end to the top of my roof. I did no adjustments. I use an FT 897d.I went to 20 meters and right away I noticed the band was busy.SWR across the entire band was not even showing on my 897's meter. I made contacts to Macedonia, Spain and a bunch of states. My reports were mostly 57 to 58.Understandily the band conditions sucked all week. My QTH is Long Island NY and my antenna runs north to south. I conclude that this is an awesome antenna. I wish I could use it for 10 meters also though but it doesn’t. If anyone has better ideas for how I can run it please let me know.

Excellent value Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I use the 40 meter wire here in Vermont. Top end at 65 feet, bottom at 8 feet. In heavy forest area on side of mountain here. In sum, a sloped half wave. No trimming required, worked great right out of the box. No matter what you may have read about whether end fed wires do or do not require a literal "counterpoise" etc etc etc this End Fedz product really does the job. Carefully constructed, not a toy. I have routinely gotten 10+ over S-Nine reports from all over the southern USA and into Caribbean as well using 100 watts PEP on sideband. This is a real antenna and it may be just what you need.

Excellent Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I compared a Par EndFedz EF-30 and a Miracle Antenna MMD 30 as they might often be set up in the field, with the same configuration at the same time and same place. Simultaneous transmissions were made on each antenna and were likely received simultaneously at each reporting station on the same antenna and receiver at the same time, using WSPR. The EndFedz antenna, in each compared transmission, had a higher reported signal to noise ratio at the receiving station. Approximately twice as many stations reported hearing the EndFedz antenna but not the MMD 30 at the same time.

For the whole report go to:

Thank you.

Very Impressive for Portable Ops !! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
There are only 2 commercial made antennas I use in the field for portable ops ... Par End Fedz from LNR Precision is one of them. I typically use the End Fedz with a 31ft fiberglass mast... and I like to run 10 thru 20 meters completely vertical ... for 30 and 40 ... a inverted L configuration works well. These antenna's play very well ... Last week I set up in the Birkhead Wilderness Area of North Carolina with a 17 meter End Fedz vertical ... and put 5R8RJ from Madagascar in the log on the 2nd call...He gave me a 56 signal report on SSB !! This demonstrates the low take off angle you get when the End Fedz is mounted vertically. Bottom line... for a wire antenna ... The Par End Fedz just simply works ... and it works well !!
To read more about this antenna check my webpage at www.n4la.com.
Customer service is impressive ... Larry will do anything within reason to please his customers...and believe it or not.. every single antenna is hand made... one at a time.. and checked with a analyzer before it's shipped ... NO Exceptions. I highly recommend this product !!

It Works Well! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This review is for the EF-20H (300 Watt version).
Installation was very easy especially for me with the feedline being fed at the end of the antenna. SWR was great across the entire 20
Meter Band. The construction seems to be very well done. This Antenna Works and it works well!
