FLEXA FX210 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Flexa fx210 yagi is very good and very light (1Kg only).
Attention: The elements are delicate - no inox (easily foldable). The Folded Dipole is strong.
ROS 1.1 @ 145.000; 1.4 @ 144.200 (SSB/CW segment).

I do not recommend this for portable use.

Very Poor Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I ordered the 23cm Flexa FX2304 from a German online radio dealer. It took around 8 weeks to arrive. It is in kit form and mechanically very flimsy. I put it up and found that the SWR, far from being the advertised 1.15, was in excess of 3 throughout the band. It did, however, seem to perform as a beam and I made a few QSO's of up to 300km. Within a few months, I noticed that several of the elements were severely bent down and/or back. Clearly birds had been perching on them and the elements are just too flimsy so that they bent. I have now taken the antenna down and from its poor condition, you would think it had been up in the air for years rather than just a few months. In summary, a very poor antenna both mechanically and electrically. I would not recommend it to anyone and I have only given it 1 because it does work after a fashion.

Outstanding Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Using the 11 element 2 metre beam, 4.95 metres long, and the 23 element yagi for 70 cm's 5.05 metre long.

Been up here since 9 years, N connector and teflon balun incorporated handling up to 800 watts.
Perfect swr, hi gain in an low windresisting beam.

Low visibilety will be pleasing your neighbours if you have them like i do.

Using 23 metres of Ecoflex 15 cable minimizes losses here, worked some very good DX here (1000 miles+) in good conditions.

Limited for space and mounted on an sturdy chimney this was the setup i looked for 9 years back, and with the 3 element 6 metre yagi my setup did well for the last years.

Looking as new still, will be up for an long time.

73,
Cor

Good BUT Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Nice antenna's very light weight, last forever, unusual but very reliable construction.
Very low visual impact, high performance.

AVOID the 13 cm version, it doesn't work.
Tested 2 of them, 10 dB gain is not enough for a 80 element yagi, rain causes change in gain.

No XY model for 2m and 70 cm available.

Survived several storms Time Owned: more than 12 months.
No extreme hill location here, but these yagis seem not to fail by aging. Since 1985 both a 2m and a 70cm flexa yagi are still alive ...
Material is Al for the boom, stainless steel for elements and clamps.
