Awesome! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I thought the headphones worked great. I mowed the lawn in them and all I heard was a little hum from the motor. Also it had excellent sound quality with great bass. I didn't agree with the other reviews at all.

Agree, not worth it Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought these for flying (travel intercontinental 12-15 hrs a pop) and found they did not reduce the noise much at all and did produce an annoying hiss.

One month later I went out and bought the Bose quiet comfort 2 NC head set. Now that is noise reduction!!! Pure pleasure to listen to your audio with the backgound cancelled out.

Sony NC11 is a waste of money, do not try unless you know you can get your money back, you'll want it back.

Not worth it Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After reading review after review, I decided to try these headphones out for myself. As it turns out, while the earbuds were constructed of fairly high quality parts, the performance is just poor.

After a few weeks of at least 3 hour use everyday, this is what I have observed (note: I work in a quiet office where noises are usually phone ringing and people talking in normal/low volume levels):

1. Noise does not get cancelled. As you know these headphones use mics pick up surrounding sound then the headphones send in cancelling audio signal to cancel the environment noise. This requires that the mics are good at picking up sounds all around you. They are not. From my observation, when the sound source is to my side or behind me somewhere, the mics do not pick up those noises and thus the sounds do not get cancelled.

2. When noise cancelling is turned on, then a very audible hiss can be heard.

3. When noise cancelling is turned on, you get a volume boost which will already drown out the surrounding noise a little better anyway.

4. Sound reproduction is flat, it doesn't matter whether the noise cancelling is on or off. Don't expect crisp violin highs nor clean booming bass beats.

5. A lot of noise is heard when your head moves slightly and the rubber headphone tips that sit inside your ear cannels rub against your ear cannels.

Do a google search on the net because there are way better solutions. I didn't believe them and now I've wasted $70.

Good luck to you all and have fun shopping..for something else!

Noise Canceling In Your Ear! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Although I prefer the Sony MDR-NC20 "over the ear" style NC headphones, these noise cenceling earbuds do the job as well, and some people might prefer them.

They come with three different sizes of rubber fittings for the end of the earbuds, to allow everyone to find a tight and comfortable fit, which is critical to allowing the noise canceling feature to work.

The battery compartment is in-line with the headphone cord, which hangs heavy unless clipped to clothing with the integral spring clip.

Although they list for $150, I bought mine for $95 (from Etronics.com) by Googling for online retailers.
