Great Portable Ant. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Have had this antenna for a couple of weeks now and have had the chance to try it in different situations. First my pre-purchase questions were answered completely and quickly... Great support. The antenna arrived quickly...Prompt service. The 20 mtr SWR was less than 2:1 as shipped. The 40 mtr portion required some work. Overall is a quality product that is easy to setup and use. Aint no beam, but sure does work. 73/K4BXN

Just Works! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I live in an apartment, so HF radio operation is always a challenge. But the End-Fedz series of antennas provide excellent performance with a stealthy profile. In my case, the wire is supported on cuphooks under the eave of my porch, and runs from there to a handy crepe myrtle shrub when I'm operating. SWR is low, and I've made QRP contacts from coast to coast with the setup. It's easy to set up or take down, and doesn't attract attention. I can't wait for field day this year!

Amazing New End-Fed Antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
As a retired engineer and avid antenna enthusiast, I still find it difficult to believe that an antenna can work well without a ground or counterpoise but PAR electronics has evidently found the combination. I obtained one of their End Fed 20M units several months ago and was amazed that it provided both good performance and a very good 50 ohm match. Since I love portable QRP operation, I have been able to throw this antenna in the saddlebags of my motorcycle and take off for the wilds with a very competitive antenna . Since the antenna doesn’t require a tuner and only requires one support (no ground!), it’s easy to find a tree or support for the other end.

When PAR Electronics recently announced their dual band 20M/40M version, I just had to have one. After using it for the last three weeks on both 20M and 40M SSB, CW and PSK, I continue to be amazed. Although multiple calls were occasionally required, during the recent CQ WW DX contest I was able to work every DX station I called with an FT-817 running 5 watts. During last weeks ARRL Sweepstakes I was again able to hold my own with this QRP power. This week I decided to try it on PSK. Running it directly from my shack in the garage to the top of a 30 ft. fiberglass fishing pole in my driveway, I was able to work a number of DX and stateside stations. One DX station was so impressed that he challenged my claim of only running 5 watts. Bottom line, can’t wait to try 40M PSK tomorrow!
