First ones were good, newer ones not so. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I put up 5 ele 10m and 4 ele 15m ZX Yagis when they first came on the market more than 15 years ago and they have given sterling service. They perform OK, though with the advent of LFA yagis the designs are getting dated and I think there are better beams on the market.
The stainless u bolts and aluminium elements have held up fine, but the galvanised saddles of the u bolts have rusted badly and the boom on the 10m beam has sagged to the point where I think I need to take it down and rebuild it, this time with a boom support wire.
The gamma match was a bit fiddly to set up, but matches very well across the band on both beams now and hasn't gone out of tune over the years.
To get back on 6m I bough a 4 ele beam and it's RUBBISH. The u bolts seized upon tightening and no matter how I try I can't get the gamma match to match up. Maybe it's my fault but it's not as if I'm new to assembling antennas, having built many of my own over the years. The manufacturing quality has maybe slipped.
Original ZX Yagis came with element positions marked and elements labelled but this now seems to have been omitted, presumably Wimo's cost cutting as with the poorer quality u bolts. It's not exactly as if these are cheap for what they are so although I'd give the earlier models 5 stars, this overall has to be a 3 star review

Poor quality Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
ZX10-5DX very cheap parts used not fit for purpose, once I started building the antenna the first problem was the U bolts that fasten the elements to the boom and brackets are so poor quality that 3 of them locked up and could then not be undone or tightened at all stuck solid, I had to get a grinder and cut them off !!!! I replaced the 3 with some old ones I had kicking about, I got the antenna up and running next problem as it's an 8m boom length the sag on the boom is far to bad to use and no kit supplied you have to supply your own, I managed to do this with stuff I had in My shed so I was up and running, The antenna is working pretty well for 2 weeks when I notice that 2 elements are slightly out of line, I lowered the mast down to see what had happened one section of the boom with 2 elements on is twisting what has happened is that the boom sections are fastened together with little self tapping screws and after 2 weeks and little winds they are already failing and the hole has elongated luckily I had taped over the self taper as I didn't like this idea and have ordered some bolt to go through the boom sections instead and I was right failed in 2 weeks, as soon as I tried to take the elements off the boom the rest of the U bolts started locking up ??? so I have to cut off all the U bolts and replace and thats after 2 weeks use in summer. Do yourself a favour and avoid the ZX-10-5DX or budget to do all the following work before you build it The actual Elements and boom are fairly good and strong enough for the job

Badly designed gamma match Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It is a ZX30-3. 3 elements on 30 meters. I have spent many weeks trying to get this antenna to work. I found it impossible to get a prober match to 50 Ohms. Finally, after rebuilding the gamma match it works OK. It seems that the antenna has never been tested by the manufacturer in real life.

Great Antenna Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Its only a 2 ele for 20m but now have the antenna up on a 60 foot tower and I get 5-9 reports into most of the East coast of the States. It is rather large so build and installation best done while XYL shops...Thats how I did it.
As HF conditions are not to great only had a single ZL contact but managed a 5-7.

May add a third ele in the Winter months when more darkness.

ZX10-5DX Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Bought second hand of a friend.Very impressed with the quality of aluminum and parts.Only thing i did not like was the so-239 connecter to gamma. Went together easy all elements and boom colour coded to help.Antenna is at about 35ft and works very well.
