Great Package Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Wonderful support. Anytime I have needed to ask a question I get a fast response via email. I just wish all packages had this level of support. Upgrades are available on their website and install flawlessly.

Great service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I second all the favorable comments and add that this software has the most responsive staff I have ever run across, and they monitor the reflector. It is rare that a problem goes more than a couple of days without a fix, and serious problems (rare) are handled immediately.

black-out free Time Owned: more than 12 months.
HI contester,
i like this great software. It has saved my log during the last CQWW-CW, when a blackout occurred (I haven't a UPS).
When the line went back, i was persuaded to have lost all my last 20 QSOs in the log. On the contrary, all QSOs were at the right place and nothing was lost !!
Many thanks W5XD for this very fine job.

Very Groovy Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After breaking the 1,000 QSO barrier in SS and 10m contest, I got very tired of hand-logging and especially manual dupe checking! I investigated, everyone told me get WriteLog since I wanted a real Windows program, not DOS.

It's super! I even got on RTTY and PSK31 for the first times since it has the digital modes built-in.

I'll be using it in the 160m contest and then the RTTY roundup in preparation for heavy-duty contests like SS. I've simulated use by pretending all the different situations you can get into during a hot contest and I'm really happy with it. I haven't tried transmitting SSB strings with it because I don't do SSB contesting, but I've done the rest including recording the audio onto the HDD and playing it back, pretty neat.

Especially considering it gives you the digital modes along with the contesting and general purpose CW sending/decoding, this product is well worth the money charged.

Great Program!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After only using DOS software for contesting, I thought I would give WL a try. Got everything to work on the first go round. After using it during Phone Sweepstakes, I am NOT going back to DOS! Working in the Windows environment is much better than DOS! Was nice to check email while AUTO CQ was running when things were slow, Can't really do that with DOS. Also tryed the network with the program and I must say, REALLY SLICK!!

Like I have stated, I am not returning to DOS!!!

Has not worked here Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I purchased Writelog Jan, 2000, I have spent hours in getting it to work, and when I have finally thought that it was working good enough to use in a contest in Sept. 2000, I was not able to create a summary report at the end of the contest, thinking that maybe there was some problem with that contest, I tried another contest with the same results, I have tried reinstalling Writelog on the computer, and now it will not run at all, I am also having the same problems with it on a laptop as well, support has not been much help, I have been using CT, NA, and RTTY by WF1B, they all have worked good without the problems that I have had with Writelog, until I can see Writelog working here, I can not recommend this program to anyone.

A full function Windows application that works as advertised Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After struggling for 16 hours trying to get the packet cluster interface working in TRLog, I downloaded the demo of Writelog and got the packet interface working in 15 minutes. It has all the function of the DOS-based packages, with a much better user interface. The main window can be customized by the user to include only those sub-windows he needs, and they can be sized and positioned within the main window. It's worth the price for just the logging features. The digital modes are a great plus. Try this program before buying any other.

Super program! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This program is one of the best deals going. You get onto the digital modes with only your computer and a sound card, CW decoding and user programmed messages, keyboard CW, super contest logging etc etc. and the best of all the support is excellent. (even if i do something stupid like forget to back up the program and loose it)

WriteLog does it all. Time Owned: unknown months.
Purchased WriteLog primarily for RTTY Contesting to get away from my trusty DOS based RTTY TEST Software. Loved it on RTTY, experimented with CW and SSB Contests and it performed so well I got hooked on other Contests because the software made
it so easy and great fun. Try it you will love it

The only contest prog I use for a long time Time Owned: unknown months.
I use WRITELOG for a long time. And I decide to use it as my only prog for all contests and modes CW,SSB,RTTY and PSK. I recomend this WONDERFUL program to all of you guys. but take care with this:
I read some where in the manual saying + or - this: Dont install the prog 10 minutes before contest starts.Read the instrutions anf follow all the steps a few days before to have some trainning with it.Any question contact K5DJ.
You know is not easy coming from a DOS prog to a Windows prog... You will have some dificult has I had but with some help from K5DJ, from a friend or from the reflector you guys will see How easy it is... Enjoy the prog. as I enjoy it and hope to see all of you in next contest. 73...
