The best Contest soft on the market. Time Owned: unknown months.
Cant say anything negative abt TR or CT apart from being DOS programs.
WriteLog has the advantage being a WIN-based program , plus its very flexible.
It's a breeze setting it up , they have a great reflector too and super customer service...
Cu in the contests...73 Danny.

A fantastic modern contest Software! Time Owned: unknown months.
I can find only one negative thing to this program: the help file is not always detailed or easy enough for my skills in computers. But there is a very helpful reflector on it. From all other points of view, if you try it you'll never come back to old contest software. It simply is the future! Using Sound Blaster to read RTTY put me for the first time in the situation of making a contest where I copied more than I worked!!!!

Superb configurability & very intuitive Time Owned: unknown months.
Just tried WL with SO2R setup, performed flawlessly, as always. Always a tough choice between WL & TR when it comes to contest time, as to which one to use, both are fabulous products that WORK AS ADVERTISED. Customer support is fantastic.

Writelog (W5XD) Time Owned: unknown months.
Chris (WL7KY)has said it all. I can say I have been using Writelog since May and I am most impressed with everything this program does. Our contest group, VY2SS (CANAM) will use it in the CQWW SSB in October. Look for us. I give this program a 5 star rateing. Try it you will be happy also. Andy (VE9DX)

My first choice in contest logging Time Owned: unknown months.
I have been using WriteLog for a number of months, and can't say enough good about it. I have never used it in a Multi-op environment, but I hear it is among the best. Some might say that since it is a Windows program, it will crash all the time. I have never had it crash on me. The DX Cluster interface is fantastic. Telnet is a breeze to use. Not only does it use the soundcard as a voice keyer, it does RTTY and PSK31. The RTTY copy is excellent, and is on par with my KAM Plus. I highly recommend this program, and the support is top notch.

The only contesting program I use Time Owned: unknown months.
I switched from CT to Writelog about a year ago. It does all the usual contesting things plus uses a standard Windows interface. No klugey COMTSRs, no oddball networks. Uses standard Ethernet networking, standard Windows COM port config, etc. Uses the sound card as a DVP in SSB. Uses the sound card for RTTY encode/decode (actually one sound card will copy 2 RTTY singles at once!) Excellent for SO2R use. Each upgrade works - not a never-ending beta test like some other programs
