Nice unit, albeit overpriced. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.

I got one of these in a package deal awhile
ago, which was the only reason I was able to
get it at a reasonable price. Is it worth the $200 someod dollars most places get for it? Probably not... maybe if it had built in DSP or something... But the speaker -does- sound good, probably the best I've heard out of a manufacturer speaker. All my rigs drive it with modest volume settings. I've used it with Icom 756 PRO II, Icom 775DSP, an R77, and a Kenwood TS790A. Works great with all these rigs, and on the 790, interestingly enough, it seems to filter out most of the AF hiss from the audio amp.

If this thing was priced more like $125-150 I'd have another one of them already; but $200+ is a
bit much. If you can get one in a package deal, or grab it for $150 or less, do it... but paying $200 is a bit rough, especially when 85% of the performance of the speaker can be had with a $35 multimedia speaker from radio shack.

Nice speaker but expensive Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It is an excellent speaker with professional appearance. I use it with my clearspeech base unit and get good quality sound as a whole. Very expensive speaker and I would wonder it really deserves that amount. My review is purely based on performance.

Top Shelf Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
You'd think I was young again and my hearing was restored! The SP 20 is not a cheap speaker by any means. But for those who can afford it, it is excellent and you won't regret the purchase long after the price is forgotten. I also have the Clear Speech Speaker and for $70 more I think the SP 20 is by far the better one. You won't regret having this in your ham shack.

Nice very Nice Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is the best speaker I have used and I have had all of the top of the line speakers. Nice filtering and the best audio I have heard from any speaker. Very expensive though over $220 new. Deep rich audio with the most expenisve looks to compliment any transceiver.

great speaker! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I agree with the other gentleman it's expensive. I managed to pick one up used for $165 to match my 765 great sounding speaker filters are nice too much better than the sp-767 I had. Would have gave it a 4 because of the price but quality is a solid 5.

Nice Box -- Big Bux Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Very nice -- Very expensive, even on the used market. Would give it a 5 except the bang:buck quotent is pretty low. Would like to have another but must wait till my company goes IPO $^)
