Excellent controller for the Price Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I first purchased another controller which I had some DTMF problems. I will not reveal the name email me for questions. I then called Arcom and asked Ken about the rc210 , excellent service , great price. I recieved the controller and Auto patch quikly. I mounted it on a tray, connections to msr 2000 was tricky . The MSR2000 was the problem with cos and tx/;RX audio. I did a backplane mod BINGO it work great. Tuned the freq at the site duplxers needs to be tuned perfectly if possible , the freq needs to plus/minus 3 khz on the input , for users radios. Then I programed the controller with RCP software , some problems but all was corrected with a phone call and emails. The controller is RELIABLE. Autopatch works great. Thanks Ken ARCOM for the support. I am thinking about another repeater and of course Arcom will be the choice .

Great Controller Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using the Arcom RC210 controller for over a year and have tested it in many different configurations. It has worked very well in some very complicated remote base and repeater configurations. I built the controller from a kit and had no problems understanding the manual. I have two repeaters and a HF remote base currently hooked up to the controller. Having the capability of the RC210 for the price is fantastic. The support from Ken at Arcom has been great.

Needs Software Refinements Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Seems to be an excellent controller, but!
When I went to program the controller with the
Windows software, I found that it will not work with Windows ME. I have 3 lap top computers but none of them will work. The software does not support USB ports,(most new laptops don't have a serial port). My other lap tops are for DOS Windows 3.11 and ME. Windows ME. 3.11 or DOS is not supported. It is not possible to carry a desk top to the repeater site to change any programming on the comtroller.
It seems to me that USB support would solve most programming problems.

GREAT PRODUCT Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought of the RC-210 in kit's and it took about 2 people 4 hours to assemble, We are experienced though. At any rate these controllers provide a lot of bang for the buck and the True Sine Wave tones are a major plus. I bought these for use on my commercial systems and am now going to buy more for the ham systems. Customer support is great and Ken is the best. Great product and I cant wait to see what you will come out with next.

Best bang for the buck Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This controller is one of the best values for the money. It has a lot of nice features built in such as DVR and CTCSS encode control (on all 3 ports!). Audio is outstanding. Ken is very responsive to questions and quickly provides updates. Easy to install, has separate windows based programming software, 3 full duplex ports, with delay board and case is under $500. I am standardizing several sites on this controller.

Many features at a good price Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this controller because it has three ports, will ID on all ports, even in half-duplex mode, has true voice ID from a professional announcer, the ability to add your own recorded voice messages, and has a way to interface a remote base (limited to certain models of radios) without the need for a Doug Hall interface box. And, at a reasonable price. The owner of the company is very active and prompt in answering customer questions. My only real complaint is that you cannot select an "initial ID" and "pending ID's" separately - the three voice ID's rotate. However, when I wrote an e-mail to the company, I got a prompt reply that the feature I requested would be considered.
