PRODUCT FEATURES:
• Tailored frequency response is smooth and extended (60Hz-15kHz), tuned specifically for vocal applications (lead vocals, backup vocals)

Good value cost vs. performance Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Thought about a Heil Goldline when I purchased
the TS-570DG but $130.00 for the mic. & another
$32.00 for the cord seemed a little much for what I consider a mic. with mediocre track record,(never mind the smell some of them had).
Seems almost everybody that raves about them is running them with some type of external EQ or other processor.
Checked the specs.on the RS230 on Shures website, impedance was in range, frequency response curve looked good for voice work so for
$59.99 with a quality cord included,also a swivel
holder & zippered case for the mic. I purchased it.
Wired it to the 570 incorparated a phone plug for manual keying, also works for vox.
Results, smooth natural sound in any mode, very
compatible with the ALC circuit, nothing but good reports from everyone that I have spoken with.
Do yourself & your wallet a favor & skip the Heil, spend the other $100 on the XYL to keep peace when she finds out you bought "another radio goodie".
