Execllent performance for a fraction of the size Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I guess what I used to read about a dipole out of the trees performing better was true considering this one is not even the 66 feet long. It is at 50 feet above my EF-130 and XR-5.

I work whatever I want on the first or second try. 3B9C was no problem with 200w early into the expedition.

Using any DX station as a reference, there is about a 5 db difference when the antenna is offset 45 degrees from the short path, and when you turn the ends toward the station, there is a 25 db drop in signal.

A little directivity for low windload and low price.

That 2 element shortened F12 80 m beam looks interesting since that's been tested at 35 feet and low power too...
