As of Jan 5 2025 I still use this key daily ! Anyway this is great key ever use ! After 20 years of paddles, I thought I'd brush up on my straight key sending. This key just fell to hand very nicely. Very well made, and looks great on the desk. Stays in adjustment, and just feels right.

Mi experiencia con Begali Spark, funcionamiento correcto aunque no mucho mejor que otras llaves que utilizo mucho más económicas, mi sorpresa fue que al año de comprarla decidí limpiarla con un producto limpiametales cual fue mi sorpresa que el chapado en oro desapareció en la primera pasada quedando plateado, me puse en contacto con Bruna y en principio fue mi atenta contestando a todos mis correos y dándome una solución al problema su contestación fue. Si te quieres gastar más dinero mándanos la llave para bañarla nuevamente a lo cual rechaze ya que 24euros de gastos de envío que cobran por mandarlo es excesivo y la pedí si por favor me podría mandar un juego de tornillos de Spark sin bañar... Ya no me volvió a contestar, NO Compraré Más Begali el precio no se adapta a la calidad final del Producto.

My 3rd Begali key, and first straight key...			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I am only a beginner in CW, and with my age of 42, I am also young in this business, as far as I have found out till now... :) I knew the skills wouldn't come easy, so I decided right from the beginning, that the tools should be the right ones, so that wasn't my issue.. That's why I settled for a Begali Simplex as my beginner key, which is beautiful, and easy to use. But, I wanted to try a single lever, and bought a Sculpture Mono as my second key, which I found even easier to use... After having done my first 50'ish QSO's with paddles, I wanted to try a straight key. I settled for this Begali Spark, which I received quite quick after my order. I was told by Bruna, that I would have to wait some time, due to delays related to the Covid-19 situation. So I was amazed my key came so fast! Thanks Bruna! I can't say it has been as easy to use as my first two Begali's, but that has nothing to do with the key, only my lack of skills. But what a pleasure it is to know, that I am training with the best quality tool i can get my hands on. If I don't succeed learning with this key, I never will...! I have been successful with 16 QSO's with this key already, and I can't wait to do many more in near future! Thank you very much for my three great keys, to you at Begali, Bruna and Pietro! I have long wanted a solid direct key. And so, having accumulated money, I ordered Spark. I want to note the excellent service from Begali! I fell in love with this key at first sight. And now every day I am happy to communicate with this excellent Italian creation. Highly recommend this key. Boriss YL3AJT 73!

This is my second Begali, the other one being a Signature with the gold plating. As a CW op for 40 years, this one is a keeper! Very heavy and the feel is fantastic. As usual, Bruna is superb to work with. I have many other straight keys, keyers and bugs, and the Begali keys are truly the "Ferrari" of the pack!

This is the second Begali key that I have owned. The first being the Simplex Professional which is great. This time a straight key, the Spark which many other users have given a very good comments to which I totally agree. I have owned this key for slightly over one year now and used it once in a while for cw qso and practice. The key is very sturdy and will not move on the desk. The lever is gold plated. The key can be adjusted very easily with only two screws, one for the spring and one for the keying distance (or you can say the distance for the contacts). If you need a straight key on a straight key night, you wont go wrong with a Spark.

I was at best lukewarm about using a straight key before I found the Begali Spark. Now I actually feel that I am learning a musical instrument. There may be other straight keys as good but I have not found one. Begali have found the perfect formula - engineer a great key and then make it an art form. I believe this is my sixth Begali and I was only able to criticize one of them and it still earned a five. There you have it. Begali Spark - as good as it gets.

The Spark completes my key collection. I have to say I love this key it is my go to straight key and I love its performance. If you get a chance send some code on one but beware you will probably be in contact with Begali soon after. The customer service is excellent with contact from Bruna every step along the way. Fantastic Key thank you Begali and company for this one.

Begali keys are known as the Ferrari of cw. Well put. I ordered my Spark with my call engraved last week. I received an email from Bruna Wednesday morning stating it had been shipped that morning. I got it today, Friday, 2 days later all the way from Italy. The USPS could learn a lot about speed and efficiency when it comes to moving packages. The Spark is a piece of art to be admired and used. The key comes shipped preset to factory standards. I just made a small adjustment to the spacing. Bruna emailed me with progress along the way. She is very professional, kind, understanding and easy on the eyes. You can see when she and her father are pictured together that they make a great team.
