I took my kenwood ts-450s to Hal,it had no output,it turned out the p.a. board had a burn on it because the last tech that had it turn the bias up on the p.a. and that's why it had no output Hal fixed it and realigned the entire transmitter,he did an excellent job and is always a gentlemen when he deals with me,i just put the radio on the air and made a contact in Fla. on 10 with a great report on the signal and audio quality

A True Craftsman Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Hal is a member of a dying breed of techs that actually cares about the outcome of his work. I took him a Swan 500 CX that was having output problems. He not only repaired the problem, he went through the transceiver and cleaned, aligned and calibrated the whole rig. Here's the real kick-when I went to pick it up he took the time-over an hour-to show me what he had done and the correct procedure in tuning up this old rig. You simply don't get that kind of quality and attention these days. My hats off to you Hal-keep up the good work!

Excellent to Work with Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had my IC 765 go out on me just as I was getting ready to have some work done on vintage equipment. Hal was great to work with and was a help dealing with a less than helpful UPS shipping problem. Radio works great and now on to get all of the vintage gear up and going.

"A job well done!" Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I was devastated when my one and only dual bander, Icom 207H transceiver, needed an output module to be replaced. I have no idea how to fix radios and I felt helpless. I did not want to spend money on postage and handling sending it somewhere in the Midwest. I have heard positive reports about LandAirCom.Com thru other radio friends and he was highly recommended. I contacted Hal from his website and my friend Richie, n2eo dropped off the radio for me. Hal diagnosed my radio problem ASAP. Hal explained to me over the phone that the better parts are made from Yaesu and that they will last longer. I hesitated at first and then agreed to go with the output module from Yaesu. I figured - “It is better to be dollar wise then penny foolish!” My dual bander is now working like a cream puff once again. I am so happy! My dealings with Hal have been wonderful! He answered my questions and was very and nice and patient. The prices at LandAirCom.com are reasonable and well worth it for the convenience and Hal’s expertise.

Very satisfied Time Owned: more than 12 months.
After a very disapointing experience attempting to get my Yaesy FT902DM transceiver repaired by a highly touted L.A. County repair operation, I hand delivered the unit to Hal of Land Air Comm during a trip to New York this past November. The radio had an intermittent receiver, making it very difficult to analyze and repair. However, Hal found the problem and had it fixed in about a week. He had it carefully packed in quadrupule boxes and retuirned to me UPS at a very low cost. His repair charges were also more than fair. It was well worth carrying the transceiver all the way to New York, and if I ever have a problem in the future with any of my equipment I'll ship it to Land Air for sure. They get my highest recommendation.

20 Years of good service Time Owned: N.A.
Landaircom has been doing my reairs for over 20 years, with great results and fair prices.
After I took a shower with a Collins S-Line that had been 2 feet of mud for two years I took it to Hal. Two weeks later, I had a fully restored and working to specs S-Line for half the price I thought it would be.
When I started Azden America, Landaircom be came my authorized warranty and full repair facility.

Honest, Reasonable, Fantastic Service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Took a piece of equipment to Hal for repair and after a few days I was on my way back to Hal to pick up the equipment as Hal told that there was nothing wrong with it, after I was told that there was something wrong with the unit. Hal did check it out to make sure it was running to spec's and adjusted whatever needed to be accordingly. It's now purring away. Great price, quick turnaround time, authorized repair service shop, fair & honest service = Hal, K6DPZ.... No need to go anywhere else. Thanks again!!! Rich

Great Guy Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Hal, thank you very much for helping me out with my KWM-380 radio. Thank you very much for the advice on how I should ship this radio to you. I noticed alot of Collins people that have the KWM-380 forget to take out the Power Tansformer when shipping. Thanks for telling me for I see how it can damage a radio. Thanks, Mark W2YM
