Great Guy Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Hal has helped me on several occasions. I have asked for and received advice on equipment I am working on and find his responses to be willing and accurate. If I were going to send off a tranceiver, amplifier etc for repair, I would send to Hal. I trust his advice and feel he would be fair and honest.

SUPERB PROFESSIONAL SEVICE Time Owned: N.A.
Hal came very highly regarded. I brought an amp to him, DOA. He turned it around in 3 days better than new...smooth as glass operations. He is a great professional in ham radio repair, and the 'go to guy' for repair. Better than any 'factory repair' service I have used.
Fees are very fair, and Hal is a true gentleman.

Run, dont walk to LandAir, in queens new your.
YOU CANT GO WRONG ! The best in class.

Another fine service from Landaircom Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had a transmit problem with my Kenwood TS-430s about 2 months ago. With no hesitation I took the radio to Landaircom. Hal made the fix in record time and I was back on the air with in 48 hours!. I started to get an intermitant problem with the 430s and called Hal, he told me to bring it right back. So Off I went back to Hal, he took a look at it and thankfully there was no real problem with it he could find. we concluded that it might be my antenna switch. Hall Stood by his repair and did not charge me for this!
THANK YOU HAL! if you have ANY Amateur needs, Just go to Landaircom... HAL IS THE VERY BEST IN THE BUSINESS! DE: KB2DHG

Superb Skills Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I am restoring a geezer NCX-1000. The bandpass filters have 3 slugs in the cans and I accidently jammed them and twisted off the coil form. They are extremely fragile and not replaceable. Hal skillfully rebuilt the assembly to save me on this project. I am very pleased with his skillful work.

THE BUTCHER Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I sent a japan radio to hal guretzky at land air communications for repair.I would like everyone to know that this radio was looked at already by a licensed tech and the finals in the radio were good. After hal ''THE BUTCHER'' put in the wrong final transistor and smoked my pa board he put it back in the radio and blamed the problem on a fuse.He sent it back to me and it was a total waist of time and money. Then you charged me ''400'' dollars to get it back.150$for shipping.big ripoff.he does not stand behind his work ,that is awful anyways.you truley craig robbins n1qng

32s3 transmitter Time Owned: more than 12 months.
can't say enough about the service I've received from land air communications. His expertise in his service work goes beyond excellence. I sent him a rig that was virtually butched by a so called collins technician--he resolved the whole issue in one day where the other guy was still pulling his hairs after 5 weeks. Is there a better word for excellence?? Would more than totally reccomend him to everyone.

TS-850 ALC failure Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had an ALC issue on my Kenwood TS-850. The ALC would go full scale and exceed power limits.
I spent about 20 hours looking for the problem and had given up. I packed the radio up and
Had it sent to Land Air Communications. Hal had it repaired and fully tuned up within a few days.
Thanks Hal. It’s great to have the TS-850 back to factory spec again…… Cliff NC2P

Good Folks Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I’ve been a Ham operator since the early 1970’s. My first call in Springfield MA was WN1VTQ. Back then my parents gave me my 1st radio, a Tempo One. I’ve used this rig for years as my primary radio and it finally needed attention. LANDAIRCOM’s repair speed was remarkable! His costs were more than fair! I strongly recommend Hal and his crew as good reliable folks!

Expert Radio Repair Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought an FT-890 and later discovered it did not work as a result of a botched repair job by the previous owner. Yes, I got burned. After talking to several repair shops Hal was the only one that seemed to be able to zero in on the problem. After sending the radio to him he discovered the failed attempt at repair and correctly diagnosed what it would take to bring this radio back to life. The part replacement was trivial, most of the work involved undoing all of the "adjustments" made by the previous owner. Hal was courteous and professional in every respect. When a minor readjustment was required Hal had me bring the radio in and he fixed it on the spot.
I also had a chance to view his showroom. I have never seen so many fine radio's in one place at one time in my life. His website tells the story. No Photoshop here!!
I have no hesitation recommending Hal and will probably purchase my next radio from him before I take another chance on an internet purchase.

I took a radio butchered by a CB'er with transmit that failed shortly after I traded it for a riding lawnmower to Hal, and today I talked to Bosnia on it. Thanx Hal! Dave KB3MMM
