Great book and easy read. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
If you want to learn more about the history of R.L. Drake company and get some good trouble shooting tips, then this is the book for you.

I found it to be an easy read and I learned a lot about the company that I never knew. Good trouble shooting sections are invaluable.

I've had mine now since it was introduced, and I find that I pull it our and re-read sections even today.

For Drake Fans Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Anyone with a strong interest in the history of the R.L. Drake Co. and its radio equipment will find a lot of interesting material here. I sure did. Is it worth the price? I believe so, but each reader will have to make that judgment.

Amateur Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Overpriced. Lacks written substance and has extremely poor photographs. And a lousy paperback. Should have been a hard cover for the price!

A Wonderful Book On Drake! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This is a wonderful book on the history of the R.L. Drake Company and the people and equipment that it made. The author has done an excellent job in putting together lots of nice photos and stories from the folks that designed and made the wonderful Drake amatuer radio equipment. Also included in the appendix are tech tips and modifications to several models as well as a catalog from 1977. A great book for the collector and those who love Drake equipment. Highly Recommended!
