One of my Favorites Time Owned: more than 12 months.
A superb performer on Kenwood's TH-F6a, particularly as it's designed to also kick the signal out 220.

I've got three TH-F6a HTs and at least twice as many aftermarket HT antennas (Diamonds, Maldol, Prymes, etc.).

The SRH320A is nearly always on one of the three HTs.

Very 73,

Great HT Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My YL has a VX-6R and with my setup, using an 897 with a Diamond X30a up 35 feet, we couldn't talk simplex from a distance of a little over 3 miles. Now, she uses the SRH320A and with her at 5 watts, she comes in S7 from inside her apartment at this distance. Now that's improvement right there!

After this, I purchased one myself. I can now hit repeaters that I could never hit with the stock antenna and reception of all of the bands advertised has been greatly improved. Great antenna!!!

very nice Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I use the Diamond SRH320A and have found it to be a great addition to my Yaesu VX5. I never seem to use the original antenna and am able to transmit right from the den of my home to club members in my area, and drivers on the highway. Just get one and see your own great results!

nice antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Having owned a Kenwood TH-F6A since april I have tried various antennas/combinations on it. I had a Comet ht224 that worked better then the stock antenna but had a bend that had developed in it ( a common problem so I understand). Long story short it went missing about a week ago. I had several dual bands, the original (awful on 220 my favorite band) and a telescoping antenna that works well but puts a bad strain on the sma connector. I bit the bullet and after reading eham reviews bought the SRH320A. I tried it in the parking lot of the candy store and was amazed. It worked better then the telescoping antenna, better then the ht224 (not a bad antenna as it is almost the same size as the stock one and runs rings around it)and better then the dual bander.
The receive is outstanding. I use it in an RF loaded enviroment (I am a police dispatcher and bring the ht to work) It does receive its share of intermod but I can lockout the offending channels. I was hitting repeaters that I wasn't able to with other antennas. Kenwood take notice..an excellent antenna that brings out the best in a good radio.

Well-Built! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Purchased the SRH 320A at the same time as my Kenwood TH-F6A HT. Reception is very good and I am able to use the 220 repeater successfully 15 miles away while standing outside my home with some obstacles nearby. The sma base screws snugly into the ht and this appears to be a quality built antenna. From base to tip the antenna is 13& 5/8 inches. The upper half is quite flexible. I decided to purchase this triband antenna because of the favorable reviews of it on eham.net.

Good performing aftermarket antenna for sma-based radios Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This antenna has performed very well with my Kenwood TH-F6 tri-band portable. Definite improvemnet on the 220 MHz band where I spend a lot of my time. Noticed improved reception and would assume transmit performance on both the 144 and 440 MHz bands too. For some reason, it took awhile for dealers to get restocked with this model, but it was worth the wait. Would recommend this antenna to anybody looking to improve the performance of their sma-based tri or dual band radio.

Very Impressed Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
At Dayton '05, I picked up a Kenwood TH7 A/G dual band "data radio," mainly for it's ability to do "Sky Command" with my 3 year old TS-2000. However, being just a one-HT guy, I expected the radio to serve as my standard HT, as well. My first few walks around the neighborhood were very disappointing. I was "in and out" of repeaters that my old Icom IC2H Sport ($75 AA powered 6 watt HT with stock antenna) had no problem getting into.

One of the "upgrades" I acquired has been the Diamond SRH320A HT antenna. What a difference! During neighborhood walks with the dog, I'm back into the repeaters. The real telling tale however was a simple test I ran with a fellow ham in the area. He resides about 1.5 miles away, uses an FT-100 on VHF/UHF and some sort of collinear antenna at 50 feet for 144 - 1296. Running the Kenwood on "EL" or 150 MW, I was not readable using the stock antenna. With the SRH320A, my signal was S-6 on both bands; In loose layman terms, that's 36 DB!

The other reviewers do a good job of describing this antenna's other characteristics. I'm very satisfied.

Haven't see better than this antenna! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Well this is my second go round with a Kenwood TH-F6 so once again the dummy load that comes with the radio needed to be replaced. On my last F6 I was using a Maldol MH-610 which is another great triband antenna (I did give a 5/5 review on eHam). This time I decided to go with the SRH320A because of for no other reason than the way it connects to the F6 is much cleaner. I would guess in a side by side comparision there would be little if any difference in TX but the RX seems a bit better on the SRH320A. Both are around the same price. You won't go wrong with either antenna. 5+ on the Diamond though............

Great for VX-6R, TH-F6a Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have found this to be the best aftermarket antenna available for the Yaesu VX-6R and Kenwood TH-F6a HTs. Its base maintains good physical contact with both radios (and maintains waterproofness on the VX-6R). Two meter and 220 performance is noticeably improved. As I advise all, give the stock antennas an honest workout first ... but if you find yourself needing improvement, the Diamond SRH-320A is the best available.

phenomenal Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
fantastic!!!! little wonder...is about 18 inches in length....fits perfectly on my kenwood th-f6a tri bander.....no gap....looks like part of the radio,,,,,performance is great on 2 meters hit machines 25 miles away with 1/2 watt setting ...440 is very very good and 220 much better than stock duckie...lightweight design, yet stays vertical better than my old maldol mh 610 which wasnt bad just thinner materials....i tell people once you go diamond, youll have a diamond upon a gem, the gem being the kenwood h/t 73 and happy qso's KC2HWG BILL FELLER/MELECH(thats my hebrew name)-------
