Works great with Icom radios Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This tuner works perfectly with Icom radios, the tuner button on the face of the radio automatically starts up the tuning process and the AT-100Pro start tuning right away. For the money and the features it doesn't get any easier than this.

Great with my IC-718 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I'll give this tuner a perfect 5. It tunes quickly and automatically. It is supplied with the necessary cable that supplies power to the tuner from the IC-718. The IC-718's tune button operates the tuner manually or it can tune automatically. Works very good with my home-brew dipole. Construction is excellent. Easy to install and easy to use. This is my second LDG product and I highly recommend them.

Great product Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I got this tuner to use with my Icom 706 and G5RV. It works the way it's supposed to work within specifications. I'm pleased with the product and would buy another one.

Best so far Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Previously, I bought a roller-inductor MFJ tuner and was dissatisfied with the tuning smoothness - seemed to me the RI did not work right.

On the advise of the fellows at HRO, I bought the AT-100Pro. I initially used it to tune a flattop dipole fed with 450 ohm and a balun and it worked fine on all bands except 80, which I blamed on issues with the antenna system.

I cannot say it's 'noisy' when tuning since I have nothing with with to compare it, but the first time I used it, it took getting used to the relay chatter and keeping the key down long enough for the tune cycle to complete. Once that is done, disco!

I've also used it to provide final and safety matching to 4 more or less resonant dipoles and have used it with a buddipole.

Last night I talked to Austrailia and Marshall Islands on 20 meters with a wire dipole, 100 watts and the AT-100Pro. Seems to work just fine.

I give it a 4 simply because my lack of experience with any competition, and a few minor glitches that can be found in any product. The bottom line is that it works I like it and would buy another like it.

Someone told me LDG stands for Loads Darn Good.

Go auto, you wont go back! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought my LDG AT-100Pro from Ham Radio Outlet in Anaheim, Ca in the begininng of June, 2007. I was trying to choose between the LDG and the MFJ-929. I already had an MFJ-934 manual tuner, but I have a muscle disease that makes it very difficult to play with the three knobs you have to tune with every band change. I have nothing against the MFJ tuner, with a lot of fiddling around it would tune just about any band down to at least 1.8:1. My antenna[s] are both dipoles, one up on the roofline of my mobile home and one fed off center [technically a Windom] in an L shape on a 6 foot high fence.
So, I started researching auto tuners that I could afford, and that would compliment my FT-857D. I narrowed it down to the LDG AT-00Pro and the MFJ-929, and read the reviews here at eham, and there was almost 0 negative remarks about each tuner, so I called a friend and they recommended the LDG unit. I was impressed with all of the customer service comments about Dwayne at LDG, so I called him and asked him a bunch of questions, especially about the RFI in my shack, and he answered all of them, in a NON condescending way. I really liked the service, I bought the unit based on that, the reviews here and price, but mainly for the simplicity. Sure the MFJ gives you more information, but the LDG just tunes the radio, no muss no fuss. It gives enough feedback, has the built in antenna switch for both of my antennas and is really quick, especially if you have tuned up on that frequency before.
5/5!

Superb Tuner Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased my AT-100Pro from cheapham.com. It arrived in two days and came with the necessary 12-volt power cable, short coax jumper, Yaesu and Icom interface wiring.

I had previously been using an MFJ-959 to tune my 80m dipole. Where I couldn't get the 959 to tune any of the WARC bands, 10m on 100w, and various other places, the AT-100Pro has tuned every band from 80-10, including WARC bands, without a hitch and very fast.

The unit was very easy to hook up. Took me a little while to read through the manual (some of us don't like manuals) to figure out how to set the various options and use the front panel keys.

For under $200, this tuner works flawlessly. I couldn't be happier with the performance, and I couldn't be happier with the speed at which my order was processed and arrived.

Awesome Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've had this tuner for over 2 years. I'm using it with a IC-7000 and before that a FT-897. There was an update for the 7000. I accidentinally pulled out the wrong chip and mailed it back. LDG cross shipped me that chip back along with the updated chip. Talk about service!

There is not 1 thing I can say bad about this tuner. It tunes fast, 1:1, and works with the 'tune' button on the radios when used with the correct cable. I cannot understand the other posts about noise, one person even suggesting it sounds like marbles in a blender! Firstly, it's fast if it does a full tune. Secondly, it's not loud at all. Thirdly, I like to hear SOMETHING. It let's me know that it's doing it's job. There was another post about the LED's causing noise. Nonsense. I've heard no added noise by using this tuner with the LED's being left on.

The only bad thing is that it's not free!

I would not look anywhere else for a auto tuner, LDG has great products and customer service.

It will even.... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The other day while getting on a net on 80m the other members could not hear me for some reason. Everything looked perfect. The LDG was tuning my doubled ended dipole just like it always does. Come to find out my ladder line had broke completely off and was laying up over the roof and down the other side of my house. I thought the band was awfully quiet that morning when the other members were saying they had s7 and s8 noise level. The LDG AT-100Pro was tunning 100 feet of ladder line with no problem! It may be a little noisy when it tries to tune a new frequency but I can live with that.

Received the tuner a few days ago, hooked it up to a 6-40 short G5RV and it works great. Took a little to figure it out, resorted to having to read the directions! HIHI Sure beats playing with the MFJ manual tuner everytime you change bands. Great tuner for the $$$. GREAT service also from W4RT, ordered on the 1st, arrived on the 4th!

Fast, Sure Tuning Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
There are very few products which I have plugged into line and had work so perfectly. This tuner tunes in a fraction of the time of the tuners in my rigs, and seems to tune antennas which the tranceivers can't handle. Buy this baby and antenna tuning ceases to be an issue.
