| Description: This is the MOST popular Hi-Q TAD (Tune-A-Dipole) antenna! Earned it's reputation all over the world where the "REALESTATE" for Ham antennas are scarce! Some use of it has shown up on PARKED cars and the coax cable run up to the rig in the shack with the LEGAL limit behing it!!! When used with a 16" dia Hi-Q-CapHat, 2' extention rod the TOTAL Tip to Tip lenght is; 14', yes that is FOURTEEN FEET! Continuously tunable from 10-80 M ( or 10-160 on the -160 version)take the legal power. Some use of is on TOP of the tower for those who want 40-80 and 160 M at the towers heigh! When the CC&R restriction really squize you, then put it on the TryPod in your backyard, attic or balcony. If monted permanently on top of a tower or structure then its radiation efficiency can be GREATLY improoved it a longer whip with LARGER CapHat is used.
