instant versatility Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
After some help from Joe, I was able to reconfigure the router to provide this capability.
I had DXBase2006 on my secondary computer watching for any unconfirmed band/mode cluster spots.

I had Writelog using the MMTTY add-in module running on the main monitor.

Both programs were being fed cluster spots from ARUser.

The active preset was my Writelog preset.

Both programs could control the rig by choosing the correct preset.

So when a cluster spot sounded an alarm on DXBase for a band/mode I needed, I simply clicked on the DXBase preset, clicked on the cluster spot which switched my rig from 20 meter FSK to 30 meter cw, hit my keypad cw message, worked and logged him and switched back to the Writelog Preset and continued working BARTG.

My only inconvience is that my rotor control which is on a legacy comport card had to be disabled in DXBase so that it could be controlled by Writelog.

What a great product, no cables to switch, no com port setting to play with.

This is the way to go for a fully automated station control.

AND DID I SAY???? Their support is fantastic.

Easy as pie! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have had this unit since Nov 05. Literally was a plug and play solution for rtty operation and contests. Works wonderfully with writelog and N1MM logger. W4TV and his yahoogroups list can walk you through any problem you encounter. If you need an interface don't hesitate to get this unit.

ALL IN ONE Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had mine two month back, I liked the idea that you connect all your devices to one unit. No more need to look for a PC with comports or LPT port all what you need is a USB port, Sound card (for digital or audio play back) and you will be all set. I found it very easy to configure and easy to use. The tech support is great you get your answer prometly. I bought two of this device at once one to use with FT-1000 Mark-V (the old qth) and the second one for IC-756 PRO III (in the new qth). I 'm sure that you will like it.

New paddle processor Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently had an opportunity to preview the new Paddle Processor - Debouncer from microHAM. With this small, self contained interface installed between the microKEYER and my Begali Simplex paddle, keying is 100% reliable.

Very good interface for IC756PRO3 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A very straight foward interface for my ICOM-756 PRO2 and PRO3. Using MMTTY software and FSK mode on the PRO'S. Great documentation and easy to configure.

Super tool! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My experience with Microham products has always been great, and this MicroKeyer is no exception:

- superb quality of finish and used components
- this black box does exactly what the specs say it will do, no nasty salestalk
- clever engineering: lots of thinking must have been done for this one!
- a nice, overcomplete and well documented manual
- support via the reflector is just outstanding

This MicroKeyer has brought me my first RTTY contacts, I now have the PC play pre-recorded WAV's to call CQ endlessly, and it has the magnificent K1EL WinKey chip on board.
Oh yeah: I had the WinKey as a stand alone keyer for almost 3 years now and it always worked great. And so it does when integrated into the MicroKeyer - no worries.

This device also controls my transceiver and does ALL OF THIS with only ONE USB port. No serial ports needed anymore.
Quick setup can be done by means of the supplied templates for the most popular software; these settings are also documented with screenshots for both the MK's router soft as well as the software you're trying to set up. GREAT!

I am a strong advocate of homebrewing little interfaces, but if you count all the boxes, parts and time you'll need to put together something that does all of this and does it so well... I just couldn't resist it.

I am very happy with the MicroKeyer!

Great solution Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I'm new to Ham, new to digital, new to everything. This interface makes everything drop dead simple. I had a bad mic cable - they replaced it, no problems. While I waited for the new cable I started working RTTY contests, and now I'm hooked. The presets work great, I no longer am fighting for a serial port on my PC.

Try it - you'll like it.

Perfect Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This product is not only excellent because of the construction quality, but also because of the unparalled support it gets from manufacturer and the U.S. Distributor.

Does the job well, making interconnecting your computer, radio, sound card input/output all easy and reliable.

The software enables easy switching from one software package to another, so you don't have to move cables around.

Using USB resolves the years of troubles with IRQ's, addresses etc. that became the normal process of getting software working.

Thanks de W5OV(ex N5NJ)!

Great hardware, great support Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I purchased Microkeyer one year ago. It is connected between my laptop and MarkV. There wasn´t any single problem with this unit. It allows me to operate on all modes with any of my software (writelog, Logger 32, TRX-manager...)
I recently added a new cable between Microkeyer and IC706 - I will take it with me on my future dx-pedition. Great hardware, excellent support. Congratulation to Jozef OM7ZZ.

Great Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I use this product between my ProIII, PW1, and a notebook computer. The notebook has a serial port but I needed that for computer control of a M2 rotor. The microkeyer was the perfect solution!

It installed easily and using a set of prefined templates it configured individual applications almost automatically. (Writelog, DXLabs, Ham Radio Deluxe, & MMTTY for me).

Virtual comm ports are automatically set up and you can change them if desired. Its much more automated than some of the earlier reviews implied.

A computer audio setup mistake on my part resulted in immediate help. And I mean like 10 minutes after I sent the email.

It doesn't get any better than this.
