GOOD BUT NOT GREAT Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
BOUGHT SP-23 TO REPLACE OLD SP-20 LIKE BOTH BUT I THINK THE OLD ICOM SPEAKER FILTERS WERE A LITTLE BETTER - BUT IT MATCHES MY 756 PROII BETTER AND LOOKS GOOD IN THE SHACK--

Awesome Audio and Perfect Match for the Pro II Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a great speaker! Tailoring the filters to suit your taste at any given time is a nice feature for ragchewing or DX. I especially appreciate the fact that it matches my Pro II where the SP-21 did not. Suffice to say, I am very impressed with the audio quality.

Very Good Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the SP-23 a few days ago as it matches my ICOM 756 PRO II. I really like the way this speaker sounds. I also have a "Sounds Sweet" speaker and have compared both speakers connected to the PRO II. Does the SP-23 sound better than the Sounds Sweet speaker? I'm not sure at this point. The SP-23 (to my ears) is a bit easier to listen to. However, the Sounds Sweet is more efficient and provides a deeper, richer audio. I guess it depends on what you like. I'm currently just using the SP-23.
