EXCELLENT Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have two of these new mikes. One HM Pro for my TS2000 on FM and the other a HM5 that I use on my FT897 and also the TS2000 for SSB. Both of them work great and I get excellent audio reports. The mikes have a very nice feel to them and are built very well. The 1/2 coil- straight cable is also a very nice idea. Once again Bob comes out with a supurb product for the ham community !! Price is resonable. 73's Steve WB0UGO

Good Hand Mic Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I use the Handi Mic Pro with my Icom 910, and my Icom 2800. I like the feel of the mic, and most importantly it sounds great.

New standard for hand mics! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
No more excuses for hollow-sounding transmissions from plastic hand mics! Heil's HandiMics are available in five models: HM-4 w/HC4 element; HM-5 w/HC5 element; HM-iC electret for Icoms; HM-PRO w/wide-range broadcast element; and HM-PRO PLUS for live stage and interviews. They come packaged with a foam windscreen and a (new!) dash/wall mount, as well as the standard 5/8"-27 mic clip. I am using the HM-5 on my mobile Kenwood - with outstanding results. Heil also introduced new COILED cords for these mics (part numbers begin with "CH-1 ...). Mic and cable runs about $100.
