"This program is great! It simplifies the whole programing process for the VX-7R radio and
allows you a simple way of utilizing all of this little radio's many functions."

I am not a computer savy person. But I called the number supplied with the cable and recieved excellent service too!

Fabulous device! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Saw this device discussed in the VX-7 Yahoo group. Looked into it and it looked good. I ordered one. They had just run out of parts and were awaiting more. Got several emails along the way from Rob telling me the status. In all, I had to wait about a week and a half. They did not charge my credit card until it shipped. The unit works very well. I have tried a couple of different USB to serial port devices ove the last year, and they all seemed to have some sort of problem. The ttl2usb device worked right out of the box. Plugged it in...loaded the drivers from the CD they provided, and it was off and running. Windows recognized it as COM8.
These guys did a very nice job. The unit itself is in a small 1.25" x 2" plastic project-type box. There's an LED on the opposite side form the box lid, and it tells you when data is passing through the unit. The cable length is very generous, also.

The usual disclaimers - I am in no way affiliated with the company...just a very satisfied customer!
