ok, but..... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had mine for several years and unlike some others, mine has functioned quite well. It seems to keep accurate time and the two pretty much remain synced with only occasional re-syncing needed. The issue that would prevent me from buying again or recommending it to others is the battery issue. My original batteries lasted for 3-4 years but they are very expensive to replace. What were they thinking?? I will not replace the batteries again but will junk them when these batteries die.

Although not very accurate, they have worked for about two years. Having worked more or less well for two years, I would have given a bit higher rating except for the fact that the batteries just went dead and it cost $10.98 for two batteries at Radio Shack. I realize I can get the batteries cheaper from on-line suppliers but I needed the thing to work now. I will not again pay for batteries for this thing. When these go dead, I will pitch them and get something that works off a cheaper AA or AAA battery. Like so many others, I keep saying I won't buy their products again and always do. MFJ strikes again!

Works fine Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had the clock a number of years now. I only replaced the batteries once so far. One clock stopped working a few days ago. I cleaned the battery with a Deoxit Pen contact cleaner. The clock is working fine again. Both clocks run a little slow. Once every few months I push the bottom button to move the clock forward a few seconds and it fine again. Its important to keep the battery contacts clean, Deoxit works great for this.

Battery killer Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I won this clock at a ham swap meet. Nice, but I have to replace the batteries about every two months. Clearly, the button style batteries are too small to supply what this clock requires. The batteries are too expensive to keep replacing them. I'm going to build an external power supply that uses a cheap AA or AAA cell instead. There's plenty of room on the back panel. I'm going to drill a small hole for each clock on the panel to feed the wires through and connect them to the battery. Looking from the front, the modification will be hidden and still look good.

Avoid this one. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
As others have said, this clock (actually 2 clocks) keep time poorly. Also, they will start showing different times within a month. I soon got rid of them. For an excellent clock consider the MFJ-133RC. It is a great clock!

POS Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
A waste of money. Tossed them in the trash and bought a set at Wally World for less money.

junk Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've had mine for about 20 years. Played around trying to synch them for awhile and then threw the thing in the junk box. Just ran across it the other day and I wonder why I still have it. Just a pack rat I guess

Two Pieces Of Junk Time Owned: more than 12 months.
What you have here is 2 of the most inaccurate pieces of junk mounted in a nice aluminum holder. I have reset these clocks 2 or 3 times a month since I purchased them. Came with dead batteries from the start. One clock runs too fast and the other has no clue as to what the other is showing. Save your money fellow hams. MFJ has gone down the tubes, Big Time. I would rate the clocks a zero and the holder a five.

okay for the price, I think Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Takes very little space on the desk in your hamshack and makes for an attractive time display.

I've had this pair of clocks for about 6 years or so (as noted by many others, this is two clocks in one frame). They keep only fairly accurate time and do have to be reset and re-synchronized two or three times a year if you want them synced with WWV and with each other. If you have a "type-A" personality as I do, it gets a bit irksome when you note that the two clocks are out by even a minute with each other. I replace the batteries about once every two years- about par for this sort of a digital clock I suppose.

If you have a problem with the display going out or fading in and out, try lifting the center prong up a bit with a knife edge or small screwdriver. That has worked for me on two occasions over the years.

ok but could use some work Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
i have owned my mfj-108b for a few months now as others are saying it is not the best clock out there but for the price it works fine and gets the job done i use it for loging all the time

MFJ clock a good concept Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The MFJ clock a good concept it is very handy. You can set it on top of your rig or a shelf. I guess the $19.95 you pay $19.00 goes into the aluminum sleeve and the $0.95 goes in the clock.

The clock should be a all one unit so the displays would be synchronized. I must reset the clocks once every 6 to 8 weeks I don't care about to the second timing but when I look up and one says 19:05 and the other 5:04 and it is 19:06 that bothers me. " You can buy a cheep $10 watch and it would be accurate to with in 20 to 30 seconds a year ".
