Amazing 2meter rig Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this rig at a buy and sell, profits to the South Australian AR Experimenters Group. It cost me $60, and for my money I got what looked like a new Tait T2000, mike, power leads and cradle. The thing is totally bullet-proof, and -fits into my Ford! One criticism is the lack of an internal speaker, but that is easily overcome. The clarity of the received audio has to be experienced, it's wonderfull. Mine is the 2meter model, they come in a number of flavours. If you happen upon one, don't hesitate and just buy it! This is a keeper.

Great Radio! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
So far i love this radio
i have the 450-520Mhz ( for Police and UHF CB ) but it can be pushed down for 438.0mhz,

for me the problem is that it has NO internal speaker
and you have to pay almost $ 150NZD for the remote kit

I got it for cheap $ 100NZD ( $ 59USD )

also the receive on this is good
on listing to the Police ( 486mhz ) i compared it to my Yaesu VX-7r and it is far better. picks stuff up before my VX-7r dose

Good radio over all, i would not say worth $ 500NZD, $100NZD
is a good price for it

A+++
